Read More Booking my move with Golden Glove Movers was a breeze and reassuring from start to finish. It was, hands down, the best moving experience I've ever had, and I've had my fair share. They arrived promptly at 8 AM, efficiently packed up our home, and even easily handled our full garage. Maxwell and his crew were friendly, highly competent, efficient, and extremely helpful. The cost was surprisingly affordable, and the time and effort they saved me were well worth it.

Read More These guys will take advance deposit & will never ever cancel. Will keep increasing several hidden charges. Will always force to use their storage service & pay more for that. You have sign everything without verification. Do not trust them. Driver will misbehave & do not listen to you.

Not a legitimate mover but a broke/agent that identifies 3rd rate movers and make money. I would give MINUS 5 stars but can only do 1 star for this site. They will keep h ... Read More Not a legitimate mover but a broke/agent that identifies 3rd rate movers and make money. I would give MINUS 5 stars but can only do 1 star for this site. They will keep handing you over to different people at different times and therefore, you have no record of the false verbal promises each person makes. They will keep updating your inventory and increasing costs. On the day of the move, a bunch of clowns from a 3rd rate company they contract show up in a small van, walk through the house for the first time and then tell you that you have too much stuff. They did this to us and then added a large amount to the final charge if we wanted to move fast with them. The foreman of the moving company told us not to deal with Golden Glove since they are not a real moving company. In the end, we used united van lines for approx. $6K less and cancelled the move with Golden Glove Movers and third rate movers they had found. We fought through our credit card company indicating to them how these guys had tried to scam us and that no one ever came to our house prior to the move to give us a proper assessment of the charges. WE WON!! and the bottom line is if a moving company does not physically come to your home to give an estimate, do not do business with them.

Read More Sadly, this moving company did not turn out to be a five star review like what we had seen that made us chose this over others. First, this company is a broker even though they tell you they aren’t. You can go to the dot website and see they aren’t registered on there. Sadly, we did not do this and believed the lady we spoke to coordinating our move. Second, they did not keep our stuff on the same truck it was loaded onto and we could tell they even repackaged some things. They lost two chairs and our bed frame. The foreman for our delivery, who was even wearing a different moving company shirt, said he would contact us end of day about our missing items. No contact from him for almost a week now. They also damaged an expensive table and chair that are now unusable. The table is bent at the joint from too much weight being on it and it’s legs won’t all touch the ground. The chair’s back is bent out and the arms damaged from boxes being put on it. We saw one of the “movers” drop a family heirloom dresser from the truck to road and then from a dolly to the road damaging it. We did file a claim and take/send pictures, but no response. Just disappointed that our move was way less professional than expected and that it was one of those nightmare moves you hope to never have.

The job was done efficiently and with kindness, leaving us with no complaints.

Read More I used Golden Glove movers to move from PA to SC. It started out as a wonderful experience because they did everything to get my business.. Then my packing team arrived. The foreman sat us down and immediately started telling us we had more stuff than expected. umm no we did not. I had walked my home when telling them what I had. He started telling us to be ready for more money. Ended up being double the price. Then he begins to tell us how we should ""take care of his team.so they can do a good job.(Tips) He bluntly let us know $300 per worker is the tip he expected. Then while packing he was yelling at his significant other on the phone for a good 30 minutes how she disrespected him going on and on. Since he had headphones on I went upstairs to tell him the whole house can hear him yelling and as I walked in my bedroom I see my dresser hitting the floor. I said please don't treat my furniture like that and he sparkly said at least I dropped it on blankets. If I did not have to move I would have fired them. By the time we finally got our belongings in SC it was broken, missing furniture, missing bar stools, every TV was broken, legs broken off my furniture, lamps broken, missing cords to items, half packed boxes, and the list goes on. My unloading crew mentioned they have NEVER seen anything like this. When I tried to call the company. crickets Now my 10k estimate cost me double. I have destroyed belongings, I have pictures of everything, they delete negative reviews on social media, and now they won't pick up the phone. All I can say is RUN and call anyone else.
