I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the poor service provided by Nationwide Moving Services. I booked with your company on February 27th, 2024, well in advance of our scheduled move on July 15th, 2025. We provided Sean with an initial inventory list and later informed customer service of additional items (patio furniture and two bicycles). We were assured that there would be no issues with the pickup and that the rate would be updated accordingly. As the move date approached, I spoke with Brett, who reassured me that our belongings would be picked up without any problems. However, on the scheduled pickup date, Affordable Moving Services (Ted) arrived with a Sprinter Van, which was inadequate for our belongings. Despite my immediate call to Nationwide Customer Service and speaking with Maggie, who claimed she had no idea what was happening, there was no resolution offered. Ted eventually promised to pick up the remaining belongings the following day, July 16th. As of today, July 23rd, 2024, Nationwide has not responded to any of my calls, and my belongings are still not in Florida. Ted from Affordable called me on July 22nd, stating I "might receive my belongings on July 28th, 29th, or 30th," and that shipping would not occur until late today or tomorrow. This is unacceptable and a breach of the agreement we had, which specified that our belongings would be picked up on July 15th and delivered to our home in Florida by July 21st. I have documentation of this agreement and emails to your company showing no response. I am officially filing multiple complaints with the Federal Motor Department of Transportation, the Better Business Bureau, and the Attorney General’s office. I am demanding immediate action to resolve this issue and ensure my belongings are delivered promptly, I also request a refund for the poor service provided. Furthermore, I am required to pay cash to the driver upon receiving my belongings, which adds to the inconvenience of how I will be refunded which is caused by your company's lack of care and customer service.
