Read More This company rates poorly in many categories. I was charged $500 extra to get the day I had requested a month prior when I booked. Surprise! Then at pick up the mover said it would be another $5k over my existing estimate. No itemization of charges was provided. Upon leaving, one of the movers stood with his hand out and said “ gratuity” three times . He was not happy when I told him I did not have any cash. The moving coordinator was unable to give me any detailed information about the additional charges or any updates of expected arrival date. All in all, this was a stressful experience. I am writing this detailed review to hopefully give potential customers information for an informed decision . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!"

Later a ""manager"" will call to ""improve the inventory"" (jack up the price). On moving day, some unknown moving company will arrive and DOUBLE the price demanding half in cash to proceed. Moved from WA to TX. $12k rig quote. $18k revised weeks later. $34k on moving day.

Read More We used Pack and Ship Movers for our house move and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our moving date was moved three times and they managed to accommodate us under these difficult circumstances. Henry was very understanding and supportive at this stressful time. The two guys on the moving day were fantastic and so helpful. Finally the bins provided were collected in a timely manner so from start to finish we were really happy with this service.

Read More I had already packed most of my things before the movers arrived. The movers from Pack and Ship Movers arrived at 11 am. I already had everything packed and ready to be loaded. They did inspect everything thoroughly. They quickly loaded everything onto the van. All my belongings were delivered on the same day to my new apartment. I have heard of so many people being terrified of having to move from one place to another. If you hire a competent company like this one and instruct them properly, there is absolutely nothing frightening about relocation.

They protected furniture with blankets etc and had to take apart the sofa and dining table to get them through doors. The office team was also courteous and helpful with all my queries. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to other customers.

Keep in mind, I was scheduled to move in the morning, but they told be if I can move In the afternoon they would have to cancel my move, and they still left me in the street oh btw, 1850 for the move, their compensation for the inconvenience $200, stay away from this company! We have called numerous times and either get disconnected or told we will be called back. Nobody has called us. This company is a nightmare, save yourself the stress and money and rent a Uhaul. We are already out $6k and will probably never get our furniture. If they do deliver our stuff the price will be at least $2k more then their original moving quote and they didn’t even take all our items.
