Read More What a terrible mover. We had two moves coming up and booked Safebound Logistics for our local move before we committed to our long distance move from PA to FL. On the day of the move, one mover showed up at 8:30AM, however the rest of the crew NEVER showed up. Safebound posted an ad on Craigslist for additional help, which they found and arrived at 2:30pm. The crew they hired was clearly not vetted, they were SLOW and careless. We had so many damages to our walls, ceilings, hard wood floors, furniture and appliances.. We discussed the charges with Safebound after the move, since they insisted on charging us for 13 hours when their head mover said that if they had experiences movers, it should of taken 6-7 hours. We have been attempting to work with their Support department for the insurance claim, however they are slow to respond and do not uphold any promises. I would do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY, clearly not a professional company and have no interest in making good on any commitments or providing customer service. Finally, over a month after the move, they came back with an offer of 365.69 to settle the damages. This is not remotely close to the damages.

But, what I didn't mention earlier was the broken head of table dining room chair Nathaniel took with him to have repaired. Felipe now claims they do not have it and it fact didn't take it. Also here is a list of the broken items which I have pics of all. Artwork, wall clock, ceiling light fixture, bed frames & the list goes on. I look forward to letting my attorney duke it out with theirs. Should they not file a suit I will certainly be filing one. Oh, and they ran out of packing materials and used my sheets and blankets as pads. If the would make good on the chair I might let this all go down as a bad experience and be done with it, but they don't seem to play that way.

Read More Avoid this company for small moves out of state (my situation). My 89 year-old father waited in a nearly empty apartment close to a month for delivery of his household goods. There was no attempt by the office to inform us when the goods would arrive. Was told several times to wait for a call from the driver, which never came. In other words, the front office had no clue where the shipment was. Eventually got the driver's number and contacted him directly. Was told that the goods would arrive at 11:00 on a Monday. Truck didn't show up until 7 that evening. No heads-up, no apology, just told that their one phone didn't work. The two "professionals", wearing flip flops and gym shorts showed absolutely zero motivation to get the job done. Driver refused to drive the delivery truck near the first floor apartment. In the end, I wound up transporting the entire contents in my pickup over four trips and moved it all myself into the apartment. The only upside to this was that single-handedly I got the job done quicker than it would have taken these two slackers. Goods were damaged including an Apple Mac: replacement cost $1500. My expectation for reimbursement is about as optimistic as the likelihood of an apology from this company for such horrible service. Should have gone with PODS. Worst experience I've had with a company in more than two decades.

Read More This moving company exhibits a high level of unprofessionalism and deceitfulness. As soon as you pay the deposit, their true colors of rudeness emerge. They demonstrate a complete lack of consideration for your time, even during the pick-up process. Their treatment of customers is abysmal, and they don't hesitate to suggest canceling the contract, knowing you'll forfeit your deposit. Furthermore, they intentionally provoke and antagonize customers, making the entire moving experience an agonizing ordeal.

The washing machine and the door and frame sustained severe damage. If you want to avoid stress, hire a different moving firm.

Read More I cannot say anything good about this company. The movers packed in August, 2023 delivery (SEPTEMBER 2023) did not speak English except for 1. We received no paperwork from movers who were hired from an equally horrible broker at Nationwide Company. The movers came with absolutely no boxes but only paper. Our mahogany furniture and art work were wrapped in paper. The assumption that we would have an "only" one van to ourselves was not to be. As well they were l0 days later than promised by Broker. As well mover, a single driver had to hire 2 other unrelated guys to empty the mess in the truck. He had to remain at our new home for 2 days to get this done. He said he had never seen such a mess. Almost every piece of furniture as well as brass lamps were damaged. All in back of van in sloppy stacked way. All furniture, mahogany, and art work, and large oil painting, a Chagall etc. all in paper and broken glass. Safebound should NEVER be used nor should NATIONWIDE BROKERS. We moved from Mount Dora Florida to Ann Arbor Michigan. BUYER BEWARE!!!! As well, I heard from the owner immediately after this review. Even though the person to whom I spoke said that I could not reach the owner at all. And of course he asked me to call the company which I had before. . But, as I have looked at other consumers, they indicated that after filing complaints lo' and behold they never received anything. As for Nationwide Brokerage...they are the biggest scam artists. And I would warn that one NEVER use them. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!
