Read More Hello I am writing this review for an out of state move that was from April 2024. Shout out to the whole moving crew, and my dispatcher . I can't thank you all enough for your help!!! The move went better than I anticipated considering the tight turnaround, all boxes and items arrived safely. If you are considering this company for your move, especially if you are moving solo, they are the real deal! Thank you!!

Read More To give a broader view of the moving process for me: My things were put into storage in FL and at some point were picked up by a different subcontracted carrier ( who was great and did not charge nothing more). They made their way to Northern CA about 1.5- 2weeks later, with delivery on a Sunday evening. The truck that delivered my things was huge and had many other people’s stuff on it—all well sectioned off. They had to park in a Walmart parking lot and rent a UHaul to transport my stuff to the apartment I’d rented, as the truck was too large to make the turns and fit in the provided parking. The delivery guys were really kind and quick. It took about 3-4 hours to unload my things and bring them up to the 3rd floor. A few boxes and a couple of pieces of furniture did arrive damaged. If your things arrive damaged, it is important to take pictures of the outside of the boxes to show how they were damaged. I did not do this and had discarded the boxes, which means the damage reimbursement is less. The only frustrating aspect of the move was how long it took for the damage reimbursement check to arrive. Between that and some things arriving damaged, I changed the star rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. The process started at the end of April, and the reimbursement details were finally sent to their accounting department in early April. It is nearly May, and I was still waiting, even though I reached out last week. I’d love to finally close the door on this move. UPDATE - The check finally arrived on May 25. So glad to finally close this chapter!

Read More United American Moving and Storage— A month ago, I had a fantastic experience with this company . I highly recommend them! The whole crew were incredibly professional and friendly. They arrived within the provided time frame, and their courtesy call ahead of arrival was greatly appreciated. The packing process was efficient and meticulous, with all items carefully numbered and documented. They worked swiftly and effectively, putting me at ease regarding the long-distance delivery of my mother's belongings. Rick was excellent during the booking process, maintaining constant communication throughout. And AnnM****, if I spelled your name incorrectly, please accept my apologies. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Read More I wonder how many of these reviews are actual experience vs fake to balance out the negative. This moving company has an appallingly bad BBB review and after I initially contacted them I did a little research and I think I dodged a serious bullet. Whatever you do, do not give them your cell phone number, I am still being spammed almost daily even though I keep reporting the number as spam.Do not just look towards trust pilot, check BBB as well as Yelp. Do your homework, your precious personal items will thank you for it.

S******* was with me every step of the way, explaining every detail and staying in constant communication. The movers, M*** and T**, were fabulous as well—hard workers who were meticulous and careful with all my belongings, including pictures and mirrors. The price I paid was exactly what R*** had estimated for me. Hopefully, I’ll never move again, but if I do, they are the ones I’m calling, and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Read More We cannot even begin to express how top notch these guys were! They hustled from start to finish. They were on time, friendly, full of energy and respectful of our belongings. When unloading at our new home, they didn’t just “unload.” Everything was exactly where we asked for it to go and boxes were stacked neatly and in order. We aren’t newbies to moving and can comfortably say that if you need movers, this is 1000% the guy to call!

I am so happy I went with United American Moving and Storage because I was getting stationed in Virginia from Colorado, and the military wasn't covering my move. Rental trucks were incredibly expensive, so I spoke with three different moving companies. United American stood out as the most thorough, even though they weren't the cheapest. Their attention to detail and professionalism made the decision easy. I'm glad I chose them for my move and would highly recommend their services.

Same day also cleaned out a 10 x 10 storage unit and returned to home and placed contents in appropriate rooms. All while coordinating with install team. It was quite chaotic. Oh, I need to mention that I had to cancel first appointment last minute and rescheduled 1 week later. They accommodated my schedule, and were prompt all without attitude or increased cost. The team I had were very attentive to my requests and were pleasant in demeanor the entire day. Great job and would use again.

Luckily, the company was really understanding and let us move the date to June 30 without any extra cost. They even said that if we moved within the next year, the price would stay the same, which was a big relief. United American Moving and Storage really cared about making things easier for us.
