From day one, they made me feel at ease with their communication, scheduling, and planning. They packed up my entire home in LA, including my baby grand piano, antique pieces, and two full closets worth of delicate clothing — all with incredible precision. They stored my items safely for 3 days while I finalized my new home in Florida, and then delivered on time with zero hiccups. The white glove service was next-level — the crew even wore boot covers when entering my new place, and helped with full setup inside. At $6,800, it wasn’t cheap — but it was worth every cent for the care, reliability, and peace of mind. If you want a true luxury moving experience, look no further.

Read More This firm was excellent when I hired them to transfer my three-bedroom apartment in the Empire State Building to a waterfront apartment in Boston over vast distances. I had delicate artwork, a glass piano table, and high-end furniture that needed special handling, so I needed more than just boxes carried. The crew was on time, completely prepared, and took over six hours to wrap everything, even the wine glasses. Their attention to detail truly pleased me, and they even brought special containers for two of my paintings. The following day, the delivery was completed precisely on time. They even assisted with setting up the layout in the new location, and there was no damage or delay. To be honest, I would have paid more than the $4,450 price tag.

The crew was on time, took great care of covering everything, even my glass-top dining table, and managed the stairs with ease. Nothing is even slightly scratched. Extremely cordial and professional throughout. Strongly suggested for stress-free relocation in New York City!

Read More submitted a detailed quote request to Value Added Moving Company and was given an estimate of $1700 to move my belongings. Everything I included in the quote was standard household furniture — nothing oversized or unusual. When the movers finally showed up late, I was shocked to be told that it would cost an additional $1500, plus the price of another truck, claiming my items were "bulkier than expected." This made no sense, as I had not added anything that wasn’t in the original quote. At that point, I canceled the move and asked for my deposit to be refunded. They flat-out refused and I’ve been calling repeatedly for the past two days trying to get my money back, with no resolution from their end. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch — lure customers in with a reasonable quote, then dramatically raise the price once you're committed. I strongly do not recommend this company and urge others to look elsewhere to avoid the same frustration and financial loss.

Charles, the broker/salesman spoke with my mother and she signed the contract and made a deposited in good faith that what he was telling her was accurate. The original ... Read More Charles, the broker/salesman spoke with my mother and she signed the contract and made a deposited in good faith that what he was telling her was accurate. The original estimate was $4,700. She mentioned how ‘nice’ he was a number of times. I even spoke with Charles to be sure he was giving her accurate information. I asked him not to try to take the money for the deposit until the next day, 5 minutes later we got a notice from the bank that the electronic check bounced. I should have known then. Six days before the move, Mike called and updated the job after spending over an hour on the phone with her and telling her items would be safer because she would have the whole truck. I called and spoke with Mike and he verified she would have the "whole truck". They asked for additional $980 which she paid. The price increased to $7300. On the day of the move, the driver shows up, tells her he needs a check for $4025 written to his company, and the total is now $11,335. That’s a $6,635 increase from the ‘nice guy’ who had my 88 year old mother sign the contract. When I called customer service on her behalf they offered to take off $50.00 as a senior discount but that is all they could do. They have not returned her deposit of $3300. She found an honest company to move her for much much less.
