Lincoln Logistics LLC, the Broker intentionally misled, lowballed and contracted our move to a business with an F rating with the BBB, that charged us additional fees to complete the transport of our household goods.
Lincoln Logistics LLC was the company we initially dealt with. They intentionally misled us, and lowballed my husband and I, took our deposit, got us into an agreement/signed estimate, and when we realized they were not going to provide the services we requested. When we realized we were potentially about to face potential wrongdoing on their part we asked to cancel the agreement and all parties walk away clean, we asked them to just give us our money back and let us go and contract for the services we told them we needed, that they wouldn’t deliver elsewhere. They told us they would cancel, but were keeping our $2,248.91 deposit. They kept reminding us that we agreed to the estimate, however the agreement only mattered for the clauses favorable to them. We realized there was a huge problem, but were at that point trapped. We were ultimately forced to pay the higher price and also have a half-done move, our home was left damaged, and with no indication of when we’d actually receive our items (we ultimately received them on 2 July 2024, instead of 30 June 2024), many things were damaged, as was the property on both ends of the move, and the company they contracted to didn't fully complete the service.
We are a military family, they knew this and knew what our needs were, got our money and the sales associate disappeared and left us to deal with a manager who didn't believe anything we said, and wouldn't work with us to avoid what was one of the worst moves we have ever experienced.
