Read More Original estimate for price of moving was completely off. The gentleman who helped with the first appraisal left out SO MANY items to bait me with a lower move cost— ( they didn’t record a cali-king bed, cat trees, TV shelves, etc. all of these items were stated in the appraisal phone call) They jumped my price from $1,650 all the way to $9,600. I was slightly delayed in giving them a full inventory , which I take full accountability for. But that doesn’t justify a 560% price increase with a false original estimate.

They will tell you they are a family owned moving company, bid a ridiculously low price to get you to give them a deposit, hire a 3rd party mover in your area, and collect at least double the amount of the initial moving quote! They do not communicate! They expect an accurate (exact) count while you're still packing, all the while telling you, an estimate of what you have is fine. Even with the owner response "justifying" the additional expense, it DOES NOT justify being lied to (written proof) when asked if they were the moving company or a broker! WORTHLESS

Read More I just moved here and was very stressed and overwhelmed about moving. Then I heard about United American Moving and Storage through a friend and they took all the stress off my shoulders. They were very professional and timely while also being very careful with my belongings. They really care. I will most definitely use United American Moving and Storage in the future for any future moves and I recommend them for everyone! You can trust them with all your moves and belongings.

Read More It was really important for the movers to arrive on time because we only had a two-hour window to use the elevator. United American Moving and Storage understood this and showed up right on schedule. They kept me updated throughout the whole process, and even though I followed them most of the time, they had to stop sometimes because of rules. My move was long, about 2252 miles, but they still managed to deliver everything in just nine days. I'm super happy with United American Moving and Storage—they were friendly, efficient, and made the whole experience amazing. I totally recommend them to anyone moving!

Read More I booked a move with this company but had to cancel it three weeks later. They gave me most of my money back, just keeping $120 for processing fees. It took about a week of talking back and forth to sort it out, and even though I cancelled two weeks before the move, they still gave me a refund. They also offered to keep my deposit as a credit for another time, but since I wasn't moving anymore, they gave me the refund instead. I think it shows that they're honest and fair.
