I was hesitant to hire movers because I’ve always done it myself to save money, but after using Bronze Star Moving and Storage Reviews, I can confidently say it was worth every single penny! Believe the negative reviews regarding poor communication with Bronze Star (this site and others). I sent an email requesting a refund nearly two weeks ago to both their billing email and my coordinator and haven't gotten a response at all. I called last week and was told I would hear from them today (apparently billing only works the first and last Tuesday of the month- eye roll). So, nearly the end of the day and I hadn't heard anything- so I call again- now they say billing only works the last Tuesday and Thursday of the month- which means they would have been working when I sent the original email... when I mentioned I was told something different, I just got the runaround and was told over and over after every question that "billing will respond when they can"- oh and also they only communicate by email. So who actually knows when billing works? In any case, I recognize that I am outside of the refund window with my request, but common courtesy and good business practice should prevail if this were a decent company and at least respond to me. In addition, I had a floating/ unknown move date a couple months from now- so zero work other than providing my quote has been done toward this move (which is actually no longer happening since we de decided to sell all our belongings due to unfortunate circumstance) a good business would also look at a refund request situation based on the individual circumstances and I would hope would refund our money in this case. However it remains to be seen if this mysterious billing department will actually respond.
