This company is a total rip off. They hire any person off the street to accept contracts on behalf of them. They quote a low price and then movers that are contracted to move you are just kids and people who need a little cash, have zero skills in moving. For a move to go 1 and 1/2 hours away they took over 12 hours and complained the whole way and actually blamed me. They were dropping everything, throwing things around and they just a bunch of street kids who probably got a truck for cheap. The original quote was 4400 which is higher then normal. Then they come and pick up everything and refuse to take credit cards only cash or zelle. They are all crooks from the top up and I wish I had researched them more bc I would found all there litigations and terrible reviews! And the name is a rip off of another company- they call themselves a moving broker- compass moving group. This was the worst experience of my life and what should've cost 3k came out to 7k. Totally unprofessional, extortion and crooks.

I made the mistake of reading these reviews on this site. This company made all kinds of promises and delivered on one, movers actually showing up. They loaded my household goods and then raised the price by 25%. Asked me when I wanted delivery and I gave them a date. When I called a couple weeks later I get told that they won't even get my stuff on the road until the date I asked for AND THEN they have up to 21 days. So now even though I asked for my property on a date, I may have to wait an additional three weeks...sorry, that 21 days doesn't include weekends! You will get all kinds of assurances and promises, but you will be trusting them at your own peril. I got nothing but lies. You will ask about something in the contract and they will tell you it is only because they have to say that, but then the real truth is you aren't getting your property anywhere close to on time, then they throw that same contract in your face. This place is a scam. I've read many things about movers adding money once you are loaded, Compass promised me that didn't happen, and then it did. I wish I had just rented a U-Haul.

I was amazed by how well Adam handled my kitchen appliances. He packed and moved my microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee maker without any damage. He also took good care of my glassware and utensils; wine glasses, plates, bowls, spoons, forks, and knives. He wrapped everything in bubble wrap and paper, and labeled everything clearly. He was very careful and organized.
