Excellent movers! Andrei and his team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and didn’t cut corners. They protected my furniture and took care of all the heavy lifting, including my gun safe. I was impressed by their teamwork and attention to detail. Five stars all the way!

Safe ship had a good organizational structure in theory but several things went wrong. They didn’t document that there were stairs leading up to my apartment, and that wasn’t communicated to the contracted moving company—there was a charge for the stairs which Safe Ship said wouldn’t be charged (but needed to be) and they didn’t tell the movers. In addition something went wrong in their system and the dates of my move got changed after everything was scheduled so they didn’t follow up w quality calls and I had to follow up w them and prove they had the wrong dates. They said they would investigate the stairs issue and I asked for a refund for that fee—they still haven’t called me back almost a month later. Be aware you may have to ride this company after signing the initial contract. Fortunately, the moving company they contracted, Cobra Van Lines, was FANTASTIC. They showed up and packed everything - took their time but it was worth it. On the other side, NOTHING was broken. My stemware, computer, dishes, all perfectly fine! Cannot recommend Cobra Moving Company highly enough! Consider working directly w the moving company and skipping the middle man.
