Safe Ship is a company that can do great things, or make a mess. It really depends. As a moving BROKER, they contract out other companies to actually do the move. If you’re looking for a specific date, they might be right for you. I originally was quoted for $4,000 for a full pack service for my single wide trailer. Meaning that they would pack up everything in my house for me. I could essentially walk out without a single box packed, and it would all still be delivered. Safe ship called me 4 days before my physical move to confirm details. I measured everything exactly…and my price went from 4K, to $13,500! Yes I added some items, but I was not expecting the price to triple. After 1.5 hours on the phone with the person, I went down to a standard move, and removed items, including an entire couch. The price then went to $7,600. But that left me with just 4 days to pack up my entire house all by myself. Luckily, I was able to get it done, and even more Luckily, my moving team was from Just Pro Movers, based out of Tennessee. The supervisor named Alex, and his team, were amazing. I would highly recommend Just Pro Movers. They were also the same team that delivered my items. Alex & Nashville team from Just Pro Movers were absolutely outstanding. They were very professional, fast, and accommodating. Got a very packed, single-wide trailer loaded within 3 hours. Upon delivery, they were very careful and asked for direction of where each individual box needed to go. I've heard that some movers just drop everything off in your driveway or garage...NOT these guys!!! They made sure every individual item was exactly where it needed to go, snd were careful not to scruff uo any items, walls, or railings. I would highly recommend Just Pro Movers to anyone. I was even told that the truck they originally loaded had transmission issues, meaning they had to unload snd reload everything into a new truck. That being said, I still received my items well within the original estimated timeframe, and without any damage to my items. It is also worth mentioning that my move was almost 500 miles.” All in all, Safe Ship is overpriced, and good luck getting customer service to answer the phone or call you back. And when they do, good luck getting someone who actually knows an answer to your questions.
