Received a phone call from Jim this morning, who actually told me to go F*** myself because I had made other arrangements. I had NOT had ANY personal contact with United Express that would have led him to believe that my business was secured with them. How is such unprofessional, unacceptable, and foul behavior still employed by this or any other organization? If you are receiving quotes from multiple bidders and you get a call or text from (850) 845-0289, I highly recommend that you not even engage in any correspondence! I would also ignore any correspondence from other United Express representatives, as the organization clearly does not vet their employees, and they allow rude and vile individuals to represent them.

Our friends used this firm when they were relocating from Minnesota to Florida. They were informed that the quotation would be $2000 more than what was initially quoted just a few days before they were to pack up everything. They were informed that the initial amount will be fulfilled after a little wailing. However, the price was altered once more and an additional $800 was added on the day the movers arrived to box everything. The business refused to return the initial payment, which makes them appear quite dubious overall. They seem to be doing this to defraud individuals of their money. Either they decline the service and the business still receives the money, or they ultimately get more money from the client. Overall, it's.

I would give 0 stars if I could. United is a broker who hired Fairway Moving and Storage out of Englewood, NJ, to move our things cross country. They originally quoted us about $1,500 but later changed it to over double that. We were told certain things not in boxes would be okay, but Fairway decided it needed to be all boxed and did a horrible job. They tried to charge us for every box.The movers were very unprofessional. They showed up at 8 pm 3 days later than the original scheduled pick up. And when most of our stuff was loaded they claimed it took up more space on the truck than we had paid for and tried to charge us another $600.It took a month for us to get our things after it was picked up. I’m pretty sure they lied about where it was being stored based on comments from the delivery driver. They only sent one guy to deliver!A bunch of stuff was damaged and broken. We had to pay over $250 for bike repairs because they messed them up so bad. Our TV and a computer monitor were conveniently missing. I also found someone else’s TV remote and parts to someone else’s vacuum in one of my totes. I put in the claim with Fairway weeks ago and still haven’t heard from them.United acts like they can’t do anything to help.
