This review is long and detailed, but I suggest you read it or you will most likely regret it. To start with they are not a moving company, they are a broker. They do not own any equipment of their own and will take no responsibility for who they hire to do your move. They will hire the cheapest company they can find and will not do any verification of their Legal Operating or Insurance status. They will tell you during the entire process of your move that any issue you encounter is between you and who ever they hired for the move. So they will take no responsibility. This information is coming from someone who has been an Owner Operator truck driver for 11 years, so I know the transportation industry very well in regards to regulations. The following is a detailed account of my experience so you can get a feel for how they operate: There is a limit on the amount of characters you can use in a review, so I have attached a link of a pdf document with the details for anyone to view. Total rip off

After negotiating a deal with Joush Miller for $11792.00 and payed American Heritage moving solutions $4213.00 from my checking account. On August 10 the move date Americ ... Read More After negotiating a deal with Joush Miller for $11792.00 and payed American Heritage moving solutions $4213.00 from my checking account. On August 10 the move date American Heritage sent four men in a pick up truck to requote my job on a Friday afternoon when , I told them to leave because I already had a deal with American Heritage they wanted more money to move my things, I told them to leave at this point and contacted a reputable moving company in my area which I should’ve done to start with. I spoke with Tony and he told me they re-try to reschedule the job which was not true. I wind up going with MOVE 4 LESS. Tony told me that he would not return my $4213 because I found someone that could do the job correctly, I am 66 years old with a disability, and this should not happen to anyone else. American Heritage is working by the seat of their pants. Do not by any means deal with this so-called company. You will regret it I promise. Now I have to obtain an attorney to deal with these people. Please beware all so-called customers. They are scammers.

We moved from CA to NC and have been completely robbed by AH, the final payment will be 4x the original quoted price and contract. We have had the worst experience with customer service, they serve as a broker. And once farmed out to the third party movers.. you are stuck! We are devastated financially and hope people read all reviews on BBB before booking with AH.

This move was for a grieving woman who just lost her mother and childhood home and they have completely ghosted us.

Read More If I could give this company a 0 I would. They talked so sweet until the day ANOTHER company came to pick up my belongings on moving day. This company sells your contracts to other companies without telling you and they don’t tell you the charges in detail. The other company came and up-charged me. They other company they sold my contract to was a place called “Indeed Movers” my stuff during the moving process must have been thrown around, looked like the company had a snowball fight with my boxes/belongings. My boxes were all smashed, dented, ripped and mutated. I could have paid a garbage truck to move my things and it would have looked better. My bed which I wrapped myself with a moving bag was opened up at some point during travel and re wrapped, it came to me looking like it was scrunched up and curvy. I might need a spine doctor after sleeping on it. Don’t get me started on contacting the company. Every time I would call to see where my things were or to see an update on delivery date they would say “we don’t know, call another day”. I could get in touch with the president before getting answers from them. I can’t express how disappointed I am in this company. This is the worst moving experience I have ever witnesses. I do not recommend!!!!!!! Go for a u-box or another company that does not touch your belongings.

Terrible experience

Sent $1184 as down payment for moving expenses. Call to cancel move. I was within in 3 day policy they have for refund. Was told oh no we just hold on to it and apply it ... Read More Sent $1184 as down payment for moving expenses. Call to cancel move. I was within in 3 day policy they have for refund. Was told oh no we just hold on to it and apply it to your final move with us. Called about 3 to 4 weeks later to schedule move. You must have take an inventory and supply list of every item that you are moving. If an item is loaded and not on your list then there is a charge. My first quote when from $5500 to over $8,000 for my section quote. Finally i asked what would a full truck price. I did not want to worry about something not on list and have them say I owed another $500 or more. Salesmen when and checked with his manager on pricing. I agreed with the offer. Would rent a 26 foot truck and pay $10,840. Salesmen asked me to email a copy of check for down payment. Salesmen said quote was being sent . Hurry hurry and I trusted salesmen. He never changed size of truck 21 foot to a 26 foot. Truck shows up and driver tells me, he has a 26’ and I owe another $3000. many phone calls later I paid. The night before my daughter called to confirm truck would be at house and a 26 footer. Salesmen said yes.. ( sales supervisor). I tried to talk to sales manager and she would not talk to me. Told her by emails what happen and I was going by what salesmen told me after talking to his manager. I do have names of salesmen and sales manager. Salesmen that gave me the $10,840 quote told me this . Jim I am really sorry about my part in this.
