Read More The two gentlemen that carried my delivery this morning literally made my day. The people that helped me were kind, quick, and careful with my stuff, and they didn’t seem to mind having to wait a few seconds for the elevator. They also hooked up the washer, which was beyond my wildest dreams!

We used Atlas Moving Systems for our move from Houston,TX to Roanoke,VA. The pickup happened on Nov 20th, 2017 and the estimated delivery date was Dec 2nd, 2017. They pro ... Read More We used Atlas Moving Systems for our move from Houston,TX to Roanoke,VA. The pickup happened on Nov 20th, 2017 and the estimated delivery date was Dec 2nd, 2017. They promised to deliver the shipment within 10 days but the contract was signed for 21 business days. We did not get any notification for delivery from Atlas in the first week of December. When contacted, the customer care rep informed that a driver was assigned and that we would be notified when the shipment was picked up from Houston. We decided to wait till the end of the contract date, January 1st,2018. But still there was no sign of delivery. When we got in touch with the customer care on January 2nd, she gave us the same status and did not have an ETA. The representative was rude beyond words and insensitive to our issue. She did not provide any definite answer and turned a deaf ear to all our concerns. We were in a state of fix and only when we threatened to take a legal route, did the manager(David) come on board. He was not able to provide a reason and took responsibility for the delay. Our shipment finally arrived on January 23rd, 2018 after two long months. The remaining amount $570 was forfeited by Atlas. It is difficult to put in words the mental trauma Atlas has caused us. They failed to deliver the shipment on the promised date which made it extremely hard for us to survive winter. We did not even have the essentials and had to buy everything new. We were driven to a state of despair. We did not have any idea on when the shipment will be delivered. There was no ETA, they did not provide us the driver info and refused to contact the driver.The agony, the pain and the suffering caused is indescribable. We will never again commit the mistake of using the services of Atlas.

Must be relatives writing these reviews. The WORST MOVING COMPANY IN THE US. Starting with the Salesman that lied to us from start to finish. Led us to believe they were ... Read More Must be relatives writing these reviews. The WORST MOVING COMPANY IN THE US. Starting with the Salesman that lied to us from start to finish. Led us to believe they were Atlas Van Lines for starters. Gave us an initial price that just kept increasing as we went. MORE LIES. Lied about NOT being a BROKER which was the biggest lie because pick up and delivery guys were GHOST SUBS and several did not even speak English after telling us the P&D people would be AMS employees licensed, bonded, INSURED AND trained by AMS (YEAH RIGHT!). Their SUBCONTRACTORS showed up with AMS paperwork and tried to get us to sign for delivery before the goods even left our property toward destination! Did several walkthroughs beforehand on video and ON PAPER we agreed on contract and manifest including all of our goods on the cubic feet! Detailing every box, piece of furniture, bikes, patio furniture, BBQ etc! They left an entire quarter of our goods that were included on our manifest and estimate because they sent a subcontractor with a truck that was too small for their bid and then turned around and tried to charge us MORE to have the stuff shipped they left behind. Our Salesman also lied telling us they do runs from WA to TX 3x a week so no problem getting our stuff on or within a day of the day we asked for our stuff (several times he told us this lie!). Strung us along for weeks and would NOT tell us where our stuff was nor an ETA because they all lie for a living in that company. We called them EVERY DAY and EVERYDAY THEY LIED CONTINUOUSLY!) Come to find out our stuff was sitting in storage in our destination state somewhere that had lots of BUGS because they delivered those bugs with our stuff. Kept telling us our stuff was enrooted but was sitting in a storage. Literally HALF our furniture was damaged and broken once they finally showed up after holding our stuff hostage unless we paid them in full for services not performed in our contract. First subs took our electronics apart telling us they assemble at your destination which was another HUGE LIE from our Salesman. Next Subs left our brand new treadmill in pieces in a corner with no clue how to assemble it and didnt finish beds or anything else they agreed to. Their Managers RUN and HIDE from the phone and will not return your call either while paid liars answer the phone and run interference for them. AMS as a company are not just Cons but they are EVIL CONS. Everything they do is premeditated and if their lips are moving...rest assured they are lying! We have had professional movers before. BELIEVE ME these people are masquerading as professionals and do not even resemble professional movers. If you are considering them. my advice is R-U-N as fast as you can the other way. Because if you choose to use them you will definitely be ripped off. Do yourself a favor and hire a REAL moving company. They will end up federally investigated, fined and will end up with huge insurance increases and if there doors are open another 6 months, we would be SHOCKED! Attached are just half of pics of all the damages. Our family attorney is going to have a field day with this one not to mention the authorities!
