AVOID AT ALL COST- STOLE ALL MY STUFF

Read More hired Choice van lines to move me from New York City to Boston, was quoted and signed a contract for them to move all of my stuff for $3000, the day before they were supposed to pick up the stuff they called and tried to double it to $6000, which I refuse to accept and they stated that they would then not be taking any personal belongings or kitchen items. On the day of arrival they came in and refused to take two armoires unless they were paid $1500 per armoire, despite the fact that these armoires were in the first contract as well as the second agreement that they would take. we refused to pay this, and they started loading up the other stuffs, ultimately everything they took was the lightest furniture that could be carried by a single person, i.e. small desk, dining room, table, dining room, chairs, computer, storage containers as well as mattress and bedframe. They then informed us that they were leaving at which point we confronted them because they had not taken the coffee table, two TV stands, air-conditioning units, lamps, etc. that was in the signed contract that they had said they were going to take and they had never said they weren’t gonna take these when they first showed up either. When confronted they grabbed all of the paperwork, ran outside, hopped in the truck and drove off, we were never given any chance to inspect the goods, a bill of lading, or any paperwork or information whatsoever. Every single person from this company, then proceeded to block both my number as well as my housemates number. when we have called customer service, they tell us that we have to email, however, they have blocked her emails and it gets returned to sender as it is unable to be delivered, we were then given a second email address that is nowhere to be found on any contract or the website or anything like that of which we also have still never heard back from any of these emails or numerous numerous phone calls. My items were supposed to be delivered today, and we assumed that they would not be showing up considering that we had never been able to get in contact with them, and sure enough they did not deliver any of the stuff. The company is stating through their customer service line (calling from unknown numbers) that they cannot give us any information about where any of our stuff is or who has it due to security concerns and that they cannot escalate this to any one higher up in the company or anything like that.

Now my items that are worth around 15k are lost. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY, BEWARE!!!
