Read More tilde; horrible company, amateur movers that charge premium rates. will damage your furniture - you're better off with local college movers. I went with this company because of the reviews. not sure if they are fake but they left all of my most expensive furniture (each 1000$+) damaged. I even specifically asked for them to take care of my favorite piece. how did they take care of it? They didn't wrap it, they stepped on top of it while taking it apart, and then put a couple huge deep gashes into the surface that left the piece unusable. And that's just one item! Another piece, the door won't even close anymore because they (I guess dropped it? don't know because they tried to hide the damage and not tell me), but a good portion of this piece is now split. If you have expensive items you care about, make sure you don't use these people because they will destroy it. They charge a premium for amateur movers who move slow and damage your items. Thanks for ruining all of my things "Elite" relocation!!

I had been trying to find a reputable moving company and I found this one. We discussed pricing and dates for the move. I told the woman how skeptical I was as there are ... Read More I had been trying to find a reputable moving company and I found this one. We discussed pricing and dates for the move. I told the woman how skeptical I was as there are a lot of scams out there. She explained things and was earning my trust. After discussing what to do with my boyfriend she called back and I told her I thought I might just have to go with the cargo van I had reserved. She then proceeds to tell me that those vans are only for local and I wouldn't be able to take one out of state. I got upset and told her I knew that wasn't true as I had already reserved the pickup and drop off for this van. I tried to tell her that lying to convince me I needed to pay a deposit and reserve her service was just going to make people not trust them and that is when she said she was putting me on the do not call list and hung up. Even if I call the 800 number for Elite Relocation Group Inc. I get a message saying you have been put on the do not call list. So even if I talked my boyfriend into using them I couldn't reach them if I wanted to.

Then when you try to get a claim for your items they give you the run around. They subcontract out so there’s no communication or any accountability.

The actual move, the moving people and on time pickup and delivery, quality of the move itself was impeccable. I would still recommend them over others, but make sure you follow the steps below to ensure they honor their original quote.
