Read More This company contracts out your move to other moving companies. Those contractors are terrible and Freedom Express will not assist in any way despite your initial contract being with them. You should use better contractors if you don't want it to reflect poorly on your company.

But - they subcontracted the move to Best Price Moving and Storage. So I would recommend going with them instead. They seemed so nice on the phone but as soon as I signed the moving agreement and the movers came they ghosted me. Multiple calls, voicemails, and emails to Richard and Paula. Unanswered. Despite telling them everything I had down to the box size they low balled me. My estimate was about 2,7k and it ended up being over 1k more than they estimated. Of course I was trapped because my boxes were already on the truck I had to pay. I guess that is how their business works.

Read More This company combined with Jackson Movers provided the worst moving experience. They have terrible customer service. Although they claim to be a family owned business they never stated my move would be contracted to a third party. They contracted to Jackson Movers but do not work together at all. Therefore if an issue should arise they simply refer you back to the other company and nothing is ever resolved. The move ended up almost twice as much as the original quote and when asked stated it was because one uses cubic feet and the other uses pounds to quote. Items listed as king bed (with frame) should have been listed as two separate items king bed, king frame. The contracted company also completely disregards anything that was quoted before such as no extra charge for elevators on either pickup or delivery. The third party also contracted out the delivery so all in all the move ended up being between three different companies. I attempted numerous times and with numerous individuals including Ryan, Richard and Paula to resolve my issues. If I reached them after several attempts, they would never get back to me. Do not use them unless you want to roll the dice on a big headache and very stressful move.
