These jack-asses show up and try to charge you for everything…I ended up losing $4000 because I wasn’t comfortable with them taking my belongings. No refunds!

Read More My husband and I are moving to Arizona and we decided that we didn’t want to drive a U-Haul down. Well we’re doing it now. Not only did they completely misconstrue their quote, but they left inventory out to make it seem like they beat their competitors and we put our down payment down. We just tried to do our inventory review and the man, Jordan who was on the phone with us intentionally spoke over us, then proceeded to try and gaslight us into thinking that we were wrong. My husband pulled up the receipts to try and verify and Jordan kept essentially calling him a liar. He then hung up the phone on my husband after not letting him explain anything. We called back and he started calling us names and when we asked to speak to customer service he continued to berate us. We call customer service same thing different person. We’re expecting a call in the morning from her supervisor to try and absolve some issues but we’re no longer going to be working with them. Sucks we left our deposit. It seems like all they’re trying to do is get more money from people then get them to cancel.

This company will low ball an estimate, then you will end up paying double, if not triple what you were quoted. Our quote was for $2000, and we ended up paying $4000, and had to leave things behind to keep it at that price instead of the $6000 it would have been. If I could give one star I would.

They outsource everything and are just the brokers. The company that came to pick up my stuff nickel and dimed me everything. GS promised me a two day window for delivery and I was told that wasn’t going to happen. At best it was a week. I had to go over my inventory list with GS a week before the move and they added another $2k to my initial deposit and estimate. When the actual movers showed up, they started charging me more for packing materials and number of steps. Did you know one flight of stairs is 7 steps? Neither did I. So my 2nd floor apartment which has one set of stairs became an additional charge, even though I was told the first flight of stairs is free. Long story short, this company is terrible. Do not use them for moving because it will end up costing you so much more. I have moved several times and cross country and this is the worst I’ve seen as far as hidden charges. Ridiculous.
