Read More We contracted for a move with NXT Level Moving from south Louisiana to the panhandle of Florida. I was in the U.S. Air Force and did 15 moves in 30 years, so we knew this process. Our quote was very detailed and thoroughly accounted for all our property to be moved. When our household goods (HHGs) were delivered, the company who was sub-contracted by NXT to haul our HHGs (Esea Van Lines) let us know we owed almost double the quote we received from NXT. THIS IS CRIMINAL. We did our best to work with NXT, but they said the final numbers are up to the sub-contractor. AVOID NXT LEVEL MOVERS!!

I reached out to NXT Level Moving originally, and I was not aware that they essentially subcontracted out to another company. I was originally quoted $3200 for my move f ... Read More I reached out to NXT Level Moving originally, and I was not aware that they essentially subcontracted out to another company. I was originally quoted $3200 for my move for a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. I moved from the Outer Banks, NC to Washington, D.C. They had told me it would be cheaper for me to pack my apartment up myself, so I did aside from my living room TV which I had purchased my own box for. By the time all was said and done, I had been charged $6247. Nearly DOUBLE what I was quoted. What am I supposed to do at this point? I would lose my deposit I had already paid, I am on a tight time line to start my new job, I was essentially stuck. This company lied, overcharged and I feel like they robbed me $3,000. This is disgusting, shameful, decietful and shady business. DO NOT USE THEM. There are other complaints of similar practices.
