Read More When I spoke to Gary from OM Moving, he told me that OM moving was not one of those companies that waits until they load and then holds your possessions hostage as the rate skyrockets. That was false, that is exactly what happened today. I was on the phone when your crew arrived, they went through what we were booked for, how they do the BOL, took our information and my wife paid them the agreed amount. AFTER they had the van loaded, they changed the price and demanded $853 for the $1703 increase in price. Our “Binding moving estimate”, quoted us 1000 cf. After they finished loading the foreman said we occupied 1450 cf. The driver yelled at my wife and asked if we wanted to have them remove the 450 extra cf of our belongings. I was on the phone with her hearing his man yell at her. I could hear my wife crying in tears as the foreman continually spoke over her and berated her for not understanding the increase in price. My wife lost a day of pay on the moving day. We had scheduled the move for Sunday the 9th, her day off. I did OM Moving a favor and agreed to move it to the 11th. Her daily income is between 400-550 a day. So after giving up her money for the day we have to deal with this fiasco.

Read More OM Van Lines helped me move some furniture from my mother in laws in NJ to my home in Fort Lauderdale FL. I was very skeptical to use a moving company after hearing horror stories but I was very pleasantly surprised from the moment I called. I was able to get in touch with someone in seconds and anytime I called she was there to help me. It was a very fair rate and scheduling my move was quick and easy. I am most impressed with the service that I received, I could tell I was dealing with a long standing company and they knew exactly what they were doing. The service was absolutely 5 stars, the movers even helped me set up all the pieces in my home and put together the entire bed for me, and cleaned up after themselves. these were long time professional movers. I got my furniture very fast, I actually had to rush home to meet them in time, but they waited no problem.They were the only company not asking for some huge deposit and were the actual movers not sub contractors. Definitely worth any amount of money to have my calls answered and know my items were taken care of by professionals who actually care. Charlee, thank you for taking so much time with me and all your patience, very professional and kind! I learned this is a family company with an owner and several husband and wife teams, I felt welcomed in and truly taken care of here. I will definitely call you again when I can get my mother in law to agree to finally move down here. Thank you for everything!
