Read More We were quoted $1900 and by the end of the move, we were charged closer to $6000 total. This was fradulent billing taking advantage of a young couple moving across country. SHAME ON YOU!

Worst move ever.

This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage.I had a confirmed pickup win ... Read More This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage.I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information.When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be.Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately.I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover.I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation.Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.

Read More I needed furniture moved inside my own house after getting new floors installed. Unlimited Moving & Storage sent two movers who carefully lifted sofas, tables, and beds into the garage. William asked where I wanted each piece once the floors were finished, and returned them to their places. They didn't drag anything and made sure not to mark the new wood.
