Read More The actual move went smoothly and the movers themselves, Junior and his team was great. Also, the quoted price was great. However, the manager Steve was horribly rude and screamed at me due to a miscommunication within their office. I have never ever been yelled at by a stranger in that way and it rattled me for a long time. I had rescheduled my move (not for a frivolous reason, I was closing on a home and my closing was pushed back so I could not physically or legally move in) and my reschedule had been acknowledged, but for some reason it did not reach the manager and movers showed up at the location. The manager then yelled at me, said I had no regard for people and he was going to charge me for the move and when I was able to state between yells that my request to reschedule was sent and acknowledged, stated that he called me the day before and I confirmed - which he did not and why would I or anyone else even do that? Then he hung up on me. While Ines did acknowledge it was a miscommunication in their office and apologize to me, I never received an apology from the manager. I was also charged a deposit which was not stated in their original terms or when I originally rescheduled; and while I would have been happy to oblige if that was just their policy for reschedules, having that "penalty" for having communicated appropriately and then being yelled at felt like insult to injury (I did let it go to keep the peace, just wasn't happy about it.) Finally, after the move happened (which, again, was great) I was charged the full price again and reached out several times to speak with Ines and Barb. After over a month and a half of trying to get them to refund me the excess money, I had to finally put in a credit card claim, which is still pending. The headache was not worth the great price and great movers.
