Read More We moved in June of 2022 from Eastern Washington State to Pennsylvania. Since it was cross country, we decided to hire out the move and it cost a whopping $11,000. Atlas Moving Systems (AMS) started out very professional. The pick-up was all we expected, a well-trained team, a truck with a lift gate. And that was where the professionalism ended. They emptied our stuff into a warehouse, instead of shipping when they said they would we had to wait weeks. AMS sub-contracted out our move. Our household was crammed into a semi-truck without regard to securing the load, with about three to four other households. The driver demanded cash on arrival, and we had to argue that we had the cashier's checks AMS said we needed, (he finally accepted the checks we had). He showed up on July 5 at 5 pm, with only his girlfriend to help unload the truck. My 70-year-old husband and myself, with a back injury, had to help because it took till 1 am in the morning. None of the numbers matched the "bill of lading "(which was written on post-it-notes) and I had to keep loading back other customers items. They broke so much that it took me 6 hours to fill out the claims form. They trashed my husband's antique train, lost multiple boxes and told us to take it up with the insurance company, that is when they would talk to us at all. We had to wait 4 months for the insurance claim to be processed and got back less than $500.00. What a waste of time and money...

Read More Thank you, to all the movers, a job well done. There was a very heavy bookshelf amongst the goods being moved, and I was very apprehensive that walls would be damaged. As it happened, everything went smoothly. I have recommended them to all my friends and family.

Pretty sure that most of these 5-star reviews are either fake or written by the company. I have had nothing but issues with AMS Vanlines. From the $3k upcharge at pickup ... Read More Pretty sure that most of these 5-star reviews are either fake or written by the company. I have had nothing but issues with AMS Vanlines. From the $3k upcharge at pickup (half our stuff was already on the truck and we were moving in 2 days), to the fact that our “relocation specialist”, the foreman of the crew who loaded our stuff and a woman at their corporate office all told us that our stuff would be delivered on a specific date, only for it to still be MIA over a week later, everything with this company has been an absolute nightmare. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m trying not to think about how much of our stuff is going to be missing and/or damaged when it finally arrives.

From the $3k upcharge at pickup (half my stuff was already on the truck and we were moving in 2 days, I didn’t really have any other options at that point), to the fact that our “relocation specialist”, the foreman of the crew who loaded our stuff and a woman at their corporate office all told us that our stuff would be delivered on a specific date, only for it to still be MIA over a week later, everything with this company has been an absolute nightmare. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m trying not to think about how much of our stuff is going to be missing and/or damaged when it finally arrives. Can’t get a straight answer out of them and 50% of the employees that we’ve talked to on the phone have been downright rude. Read More Since loading, working with AMS has been a total nightmare. They failed in knowing how big the truck should be, and make me paid for a 2nd truck. Still today Im sleeping in the floor with my kids and my things haven´t arrived to Florida. Save yourself from huge problem and avoid working with this company. There is no customer service, and the whole experience is the worst nightmare you can ever experience.

Also, the movers had such an amazing vibe, so positive and so greatness.

Read More This was our first time using this company. We had a great experience getting the initial quote. Supervisor was very communicative, giving us updates and checking in along the way. Then on the day of the move we had a great crew. There were no hidden fees or unexpected charges. We had a great moving day and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. We highly recommend them and will be repeat customers when it's time to move again.

As a college student, this is the perfect service that I needed to move out from my dorm. I also recommended them to my other college fellows, they also had a lovely experience.
