Read More I'm reading these negative comments and I'm worry because I spoke to a black lady named Katrina or something and she was very nice and pleasant speaking to me breaking all the other comapanies that are brokers like Midland,Safe something?.And told me my move would $4300.They would pick up then once they arrive at my destination,I would pay the last deposit and they would unload and set up the bed, sofa for. this price ,so I thought I why not try them but I didn't get a chance since the black lady I'm trying to carry on the sale with is not there or doesn't want to speak to me since her supervisor (some white lady )is telling me she's not available so I'm thinking this company is on some bullshit..I have to research some other actual carriers now

Read More Looking at the reviews, this company seems to be hit or miss. They were hit for me. They charged what they quoted, everyone we talked with was friendly and professional and they were super careful with all the stuff. They communicated well before and during the move, and the driver let us know, every day, where he was en route, so we could plan delivery . I would use these guys again. No issues at all.

The thing that.really stood out was the driver Luis. He was really cool. He really kept me updated with the shipment and worked with me on the time of delivery. This company deserves every star.

Read More Overall I had a great experience with Colonial Van Lines for my recent move. The specialist I worked with was very helpful. The movers were professional. I received my item within a few days to my new location. The price was more expensive than I expected to pay, however. I will recommend this company to others.

Read More Colonial was great to work with. It was my first time with a moving company and I had my stuff moved from CA to TX. Prices are super high right now for that destination but Melissa and her assistant were happy to work with me and brought the price down below other competitors. My stuff was brought by a third party but the mover was very communicative with me the entire process before her and arrival and throughout. Colonial does tell you if things are not in boxes and the movers have to do that upon arrival there will be an additional charge. So if you want no extra fees for that make sure everything is boxed even small nightstands and such. Also they did charge me extra for a long haul since my storage unit was more than $300 feet of where the truck could park but that was expected on my end. Overall it was a very great experience and I appreciate the company for making my move less stressful!

Absolutely insulting and will be filing a BBB complaint as well.
