Read More Moving with JK was the worst experience I have had with any company. Some of the highlights: -showed up over 1 day late for move -over-charged by more than $4000 for unnecessary shuttle services -destroyed property, including electrical box causing a safety hazard, hot water heater, and refused to pay for damages -crew was too small for the job (3 movers for a 3000 sq foot house!) -crew members inexperienced, hostile and disrespectful to owners, neighbors, etc. The list goes on and on. We have a family of 5, and during a stressful time in our lives JK made the moving process an absolute nightmare. The worst part has been their complete refusal to accept responsibility for what they have done and apologize. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It was wrapped so well nothing could have scratched the furniture no matter what. It was delivered very quickly and unpacked quickly and set back up where we wanted. I am extremely happy with JK Moving!

Read More I shopped around for movers from VA to TX and went with JK because of their no pressure sales and everyone I ran into after from the crew to coordinators and customer service were good people. The best move is no move but in hindsight if I have to do it, I would go with jk. There was one hiccup as I was charged around $500 more for packing which I thought would get packed by jk. At the end they split it and I was fine with it because I didn’t pay attention to clerical mistake and difference between pbo and cp. if you are moving - you need to know those acronyms.Good luck with your move, educate yourself and pay attention to fine print as it will come to be important.One more note - their crew couldn’t take the truck to where my house was so the option was shuttle or walk 100-150 steps. They chose the steps, saving some money.Good, honest people - can’t go wrong.I give them 4 stars bc we have had a couple of broken items which could have been avoided but waiting to hear back.

Trust me this company is terrible !!

Most all of my furniture had some type of damage. They don't want to settle claims. They make ridiculous excuses. Read their reviews on BBB. Horrible. Wish I had seen tho ... Read More Most all of my furniture had some type of damage. They don't want to settle claims. They make ridiculous excuses. Read their reviews on BBB. Horrible. Wish I had seen those before selecting this company. Find someone else unless you don't care about damage to your furniture. Had one plastic tub full of water that ruined my Christmas decor.
