Read More I would recommend these guys to others. They showed up on time and got right to work. They were very quick with the process while also making sure to take the extra time to properly wrapped all my items with both blankets and plastic. They all were very friendly and maintained a professional sense while working. I feel lucky that I had these guys come to my place to move my things. I know that they were handled properly and are in good hands. Once again I would recommend them to anyone looking for any type of move, whether it be across the country like me or just a local move.

We are working with Safe Ship as broker for daughter's interstate move from Texas to Virginia, and its been an absolute nightmare.We had immediate delivery date of August ... Read More We are working with Safe Ship as broker for daughter's interstate move from Texas to Virginia, and its been an absolute nightmare.We had immediate delivery date of August 1 in estimate, and importance was repeatedly confirmed by the Safe Ship sales rep. Long story short - items picked up in Houston, Texas at noon on Saturday, July 27th, and as of late afternoon on Friday, August 2nd, they were still sitting in a warehouse a few miles away.I have no idea if/when delivery will occur. All Safe Ship will says is that it should be there at some point point on or before August 13th. They have been shockingly ambivalent to our frustrations, unprofessional and unresponsive.My daughter starts classes as first year med student this week. I've put her up in a hotel for the time being. I will probably have her buy sleeping bag and an air mattress in otherwise empty apartment, and some business casual close for beginning of school. When I raised these out-of-pocket expenses with Safe Ship, they were insultingly dismissive.Terrible experience, and still not over. Cannot imagine why anyone would use Safe Ship, or how they stay in business. Wish we had done more diligence on front end, and used someone reputable.

They didn’t mark the boxes of what was in the box, so on delivery you end up with a pile of unmarked boxes. They give no indication of what was inside or where it goes. ... Read More They didn’t mark the boxes of what was in the box, so on delivery you end up with a pile of unmarked boxes. They give no indication of what was inside or where it goes. A disaster!!!!! What should be quick and efficient process became a laborious and a weeks long effort. They said they aren’t required to mark the boxes. REAL moving companies do!!!

I booked my move with them(SafeShip, SS) and I am regretting (My book agent was Nick Cirnigliaro). Today, they sent the trucking company (Safe Bound, SB). SB charged me 3 ... Read More I booked my move with them(SafeShip, SS) and I am regretting (My book agent was Nick Cirnigliaro). Today, they sent the trucking company (Safe Bound, SB). SB charged me 300 USD extra, because SS told me stairs were covered, but they were not. Also, they did not include all items. DONT BOOK with SS. They are crap.
