Read More Safeway Moving Inc is terrible. The sales people sound nice and professional, but they are just a front. It was clear that the movers on both ends were not employees but day laborers. They were careless with our belongings; they piled my carbon fiber bikes on top of steel trampoline poles with no protective covering and unsecured. They lost a queen sized mattress somewhere between pick-up, storage and drop-off. They changed the delivery date for times and they lied outright about the reason for the delay. The dispatcher said that the drivers were stopped at a weigh station in CT for being at their daily driving limit. When I spoke to the driver the next day, he said he was in NJ and had just gotten the job that morning. A rotten and careless company.
