Read More Man, I applaud their movers. The first-floor apartment I was moving into turned out to be a challenge when I found out that there was no elevator. What concerned me more was the corner entrance at the apartment building. When I voiced it out to my moving coordinator, he understood the situation, provided me assurance and called in three extra men to help with unloading and placement of my possessions. They arrived shortly after it and blended in with the other two movers easily. They demonstrated great teamwork and put my things in my apartment without a scratch! There were no breakages, marks or indentations either! They blew my mind away with their skills! I cannot recommend them enough!

Read More I recently moved from a third-floor apartment to a cozy townhouse. Swift Shift Van Lines was incredible! They arrived right on time, with smiles and a positive attitude. They carefully wrapped each piece of my glassware with bubble wrap and gently placed them in sturdy boxes. The team leader, David even made a checklist to ensure nothing was forgotten. They maneuvered my bulky couch through a narrow staircase with such skill, it was like watching a dance. Everything was unpacked in my new home, exactly where I wanted. Flawless service!

Read More I've never left a review on any product or service in my entire life. I usually read reviews like this one thinking the person that wrote it is crazy and they are over exaggerating. Trust me that I am not insane, and none of this is an exaggeration. This experience was so unbelievable awful that it actually deserves my time to explain why you should never even consider this. 1. Lied about the date our items would arrive. We were told 7-10 days from the date that the items were picked up. It arrived about 30 days later. We had to live in the new apartment with nothing for almost a month. We had to spend hundreds of extra dollars just to buy everyday items to get us by. 2. Lied about extra hidden fees. We were told many times that there would be no elevator fee or long distance carry fee, for which the movers ended up charging us $275 for when they dropped our stuff off. 3. Movers themselves were complete pieces of ____. When I asked why we should have to pay the fees when we were told there were none, he berated me about not paying and threatened me that he would go exchange the truck for a U-haul for an extra $400. He was constantly screaming at me, especially when I asked to read what he was making me sign. At one point, he had to make sure that I wasn't recording him secretely with my phone (because he knew what he was doing would've gotten him fired). He also made sure to mention to me that the signatures on any of the documents I've signed don't actually matter because he works for a QUOTE "mickey mouse" joke of a company. I was very close to calling the police because of how hostile they were. And by the way, there's no option to stand up for yourself... since they have your stuff. At the end, they drove away without any notice that they had brought the last boxes up. No goodbye or thanks or anything. Probably because if they did say goodbye to anyone they'd eventually get what they deserve. 4. Customer service reps throughout this whole process were absolutely no help, despite the fact that in our contract it stated that they will "act on behalf of the customers." Our useless customer service rep thought it was adequate to cite the result of a google search to explain why our items were a month late instead of citing our actual contract that we signed. In short, stay as far away from this disgrace of a company as you can. Complete scam run by terrible people.
