Read More I have been waiting on my household items for almost 4 weeks and they told me it would be 7-10 days! This is absolutely unacceptable! I still don’t know if I will receive my items next week, it’s starting to get cold where I am and I don’t have any winter clothes and don’t have the money to go buy new clothes that I already have but have yet to receive them! I will never recommend this company for anyone to use.

I'm unsure if this company is poorly run or if the employees are criminals. They were supposed to relocate me from TX to NY but they responded to me at the last minute and abandoned me. I won't ever suggest these unprofessional to anyone.

Read More Menards ********************************************* is GREAT!! If you got less than 595 sq. ft of stuff, need to move across the country in less than two weeks, and $1200 to burn, they DEFINITELY won't cancel on you at the last minute and force you to pay anyway. They DEFINITELY won't try to squeeze you for an extra $500 (on top of the original $1200, of course) for an extra 500 sq. ft. of space that you know you don't need. Nor will they curse at you on the phone when you try to negotiate the price and storage space down for if they do (BUT THEY DEFINITELY WOULDN'T DO SO TO BEGIN WITH). And if you ever left a bad review of them after a negative experience (WHICH YOU DEFINITELY WON'T HAVE), the owner will DEFINITELY not respond to your review calling it fake or that you were wrong for having done business with them (that would just be foolish).

Read More They sold my job so someone else. They lost several of my belongings and what wasn’t lost was broken. This is everything I own. I call their insurance company and it is not real. It doesn’t lead anywhere, it doesn’t have a real name and no one will pick up. They will just take your money and then force you to deal with someone who wants to be paid in cash. Absolutely do not hire them.I am going to have no choice but sue them. It would have been cheaper to throw away everything I own and buy it again new.

Read More Here's my honest opinion on these swindlers: don't squander your money on Menards Moving & Storage! Those movers Smith and Adam were so inept and unethical that they ruined my flat screen TV with their negligent and uncourteous attitude, leaving a huge fat crack in the screen. They also scratched my hardwood dining table and dinged my stainless steel fridge. I was furious at how they treated my possessions. I really stopped them in the midst because I couldn't stand watching them mercilessly destroy my belongings in front of my eyes. I would never want someone to be so wounded by someone, and those movers, Smith and Adam, made my relocation a real cluster f*** from start to finish.

Read More Spend the extra dollar to get a quality mover, communication was horrible once they picked up my things from the origin, waited 4 weeks for my things to arrive, my nightstand was broken, boxes were smashed and opened, and they had no way of certifying they brought all of my items. This company is a masked 3PL. Cheap option, but I am not using them again.

Do not use this company. We have been lied to nonstop about our move. Still dealing with them. They finally are here to deliver our stuff a week past our contract date ... Read More Do not use this company. We have been lied to nonstop about our move. Still dealing with them. They finally are here to deliver our stuff a week past our contract date and then told me they would be at my residence in between 8-9pm tonight. I told them no and that they needed to come in the morning as it took them almost 10hrs to load us and I was not staying up all night. She texted and said they could be here a little after 7 like that makes it all better. It doesn't and I still said no. She then called and told me that if they don't deliver tonight that they are charging me. For what? This is poor planning all the way around on their part. They don't give a crap about their customers. Do not do business with them and I will be blasting them on every platform and reporting them to the BBB.Nice fake reviews below. Same photo, different names and locations. You just hit a new level of low.

Read More Menards is a broker using several other moving companies so you don't know who you are getting until the day of the move. I was provided a binding moving estimate of $14,719 for an interstate move from California to Arizona. On the day of the move, the actual movers, United Prime Van Lines, wanted to charge me an extra $10,000. Joseph, Menards' owner, supposedly negotiated them down to an extra $5,000, which I paid. However, I wonder if it was just a scam to get another $5,000. Of the 4 people who came to move us, only 2 spoke English. The main guy was very rude. They ended up taking all of my medications which were not in a cardboard box, just a wicker basket. This was critical because my stuff was in storage for a month. On moving day, they moved all the boxes to the street, blocking my neighbor's driveway for the entire day. They were supposed to bring 2 moving vans to the site. Instead they brought one, went to their storage facility, unloaded the truck and came back to reload. This cost us a lot of time. They didn't finish until almost 10 pm. Plus they did not take everything they were supposed to. We ended up renting U-hauls and drove the rest of the stuff there ourselves. When it came time for the delivery from United's storage, the delivery was on 2 different days about a week apart and not exactly to my convenience but I rearranged my schedule because I was tired of dealing with all the problems and I just wanted my furniture. The men that came for the subsequent deliveries were much nicer and spoke English. There were several large furniture items that ended up cracked, dented or badly scratched. I would not recommend using these companies unless you enjoy aggravation.
