Read More The movers were very responsive to my needs during my move from SD to FL. They listened carefully to my instructions and made sure to follow them exactly. Their attentiveness to every detail meant that all items were handled according to my specifications, and nothing was overlooked. Their responsiveness and careful attention made the whole process much easier.

Read More I’m a heavy reviewer. I like to take my chances even when people have bad reviews for some odd reason. This review will consist of live updates. Right now I’ll start off with a 3 star only because Nate really fought for my business which I really appreciated. The price was not as high as other moving companies.On 8/12/24 I ordered and paid for a move from FL to TX with an expected pick up for 08/17 - 08/18 and I paid extra for expedited delivery for 08/20.On 8/16 I had to call the company to see if a date had been confirmed since I had not heard from anyone. I was then told my pick up will be 08/18 between 10 am - 1 pm. So now I wait to see what happens. I’ll be back on 08/18 for an update.Update: On 8/18, which was the loading day, the movers arrived within the given time frame. However, they showed up in a 26ft U-Haul instead of a proper moving company truck. The issue started when they mentioned that the estimated 602 cubic ft that I had paid for was not enough to accommodate all the items listed on my price sheet. I was quite upset as I believe it is the responsibility of Menards to provide an accurate estimate, either by sending someone to assess the items or by conducting a virtual tour, similar to other moving companies I have contacted.As a result, my initial price of $3,333.34 skyrocketed to $6,555, as I was informed that I only paid for 1/4 of the truck and that the estimate was off by 250 cubic ft. The movers packed the truck in a way that seemed like they were trying to maximize the space to get more money out of me. I was unable to reach customer service despite calling them three times, and the same goes for Nate, whom I also called three times.Furthermore, I was not informed by Menards about additional charges for heavy lifting. After disputing the situation, the movers attempted to backtrack after I confronted them about the extra $3,200. Eventually, they reduced the additional charge to $868 after I spoke with someone named Phillip at Menards, who confirmed that the amount was not correct.While I cannot entirely blame Menards for this mishap, I believe that they share some responsibility, especially if the moving company, Sunshine National Movers, frequently works with them. I will complete my overall review on the delivery date, 8/20, to see if the shipment arrives on time, given that I paid extra for expedited delivery.

They lied to me about when my stuff would arrive, multiple times. They sent men with a penske truck to get my things and then when they finally delivered it to me they had moved it to a different truck and only one small guy came to unload it all. They ended up breaking items that were decades old and are irreplaceable!!!!! They company they hired to do the move was insanely unprofessional and very rude.Please please please read the reviews and do not use these frauds!

I was amazed at how quickly they worked without compromising on care. They disassembled and reassembled my bed frame perfectly, which was a huge relief. At the new place, they helped with setting up furniture and made sure everything was in the right place. Couldn’t have asked for a better team!

Some of the things I encountered while working with them: 1) Never telling me when my movers will come 2) Telling me my payment didn't go through and that my things won't be delivered, then they realized it did go through and it was their mistake 3) Did not get 24 hours notice of arrival of things 4) Was charged an additional $600 for a 'long' move. Mover said it was 450 ft to my door when it was not. Customer service on the line was trying to convince the mover to take my tip to cover that fee, the mover got so angry he left and told me that this company was a scam. 5) Broke my nightstand, but didn't tell me, just propped it up so I didn't notice until after they left This company is insanely unresponsive and unprofessional. Do not trust them with your move.

Read More Wow, where do I start? The moving team was fantastic. They showed up right on time, even though it was a rainy day. They had big bright yellow rain jackets on, which I thought was cute. They handled my stuff with such care, like my vintage tea set was their own. They used those quilted moving blankets and wrapped everything so carefully. When they arrived at my new place, they placed everything exactly where I wanted it. One guy noticed that my TV stand was a bit wobbly and fixed it for me. Couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience!

Read More I recently moved from Louisiana to TN last month. I used Menards company. Of course, Jason who gave us our initial quote was so nice and friendly- and once we put deposit, we no longer could contact him. He told us that in exchange for our lawnmower and generator that we can pack 10 more large boxes, so I sold those items ans packed 10 more large boxes. As my move date was approaching the manager said that he was sorry, but that was wrong and that I owe them another $1100 for those 10 boxes. and then at that point, I can’t unpack those 10 boxes anymore. They told me that my move date would be July 5 and that they would call me by July 3rd to confirm, of course no one called. I waited all day on July 5 with no call until finally someone picked up the phone that afternoon and pretty much just said sorry that it won’t happen that day and that it will happen tomorrow which ruined all of our plans. They gave me an estimate for July 6th between 11a-5p for pick up. Of course, 5 PM comes around and no one was there to pick up my items. Finally, they called at 6:30pm that they are on the way and they are coming from Missouri and that is when I found out that they are using a third-party mover Trusted Good Movers LLC. These guys show up with flip flops on and was appalled to see they are going to be my movers. To make it worse, they asked me if they can finish the job the next day because it’s getting dark and they promised to bring my stuff straight to Tennessee the next day. I agreed only because my best friend was able to come to my house and watch them pick up the rest of my items, but also ruined my plans that day- and had to drive thru the night with my kids to make it to TN the next day. Now on July 7th, I get a call from their boss saying that they can’t deliver my stuff anymore as its late and that I owe them more money!!!! They deliver on the 8th and would not start until I pay them the rest of the money. They told us between 7-9am. And of course they show up at 11 am!!! This ended up being a $5500 quote to $10K!!!!! And they definitely manipulated the items by not putting them stacking. They keep saying that my items took the entire truck. They did not wear gloves or used any cloth or covering precautions for your items and walls. And of course they damaged my brand new wall to my house which is completely white! This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. So please do yourself a favor and don’t hire this company for your move!
