Everything I owned was delivered on schedule and in perfect condition, from high-priced furniture and kitchenware to everyday goods and rare antiquities. Read More First it’s important to state I’ve done business with this company for the second time, the second time has been just lying and having strangers who aren’t even with the brokered company come into my home. I was told delivery by 1-2 days after pick up, I have called 3 times prior to pick up an all have confirmed the same thing, no one told me we’d be waiting an additional week to two weeks to have our things delivered. I have argued with the owner of the brokered company Yami Vanunu who is unprofessional and rude, I have been told by his own rep that it be 1-2 days and MY 6 month old son has medical equipment on that truck that I have had planned to have delivered as we got there, both companies are asking to be paid, both companies have made commitments, and now want to back peddle and basically tell me to get over it. I’ll be contacting a lawyer, because this is ridiculous, if it was just my wife an I it be one thing but my I’ll son is another and Yaniv basically telling me too bad, isn’t going to work. I’m sick of the lack of accountability, the lying and me trying to accommodate everyone else. This is unacceptable!

No one answers phone calls, texts or emails. Started a new job today and had to purchase work clothes (suits, dress shits, ties, belts and shoes) in order to start my job. Where are my belongings?! Very stressful.

Read More Read all the negative ones and you will know. They have multiple websites: crosscountrymovers.com and crosscountrymovingcompany.net are the same guys. And have many different Yelp pages. So do your homework well. They are NOT even a real moving company. A bunch of guys with with a phone. They will give you a very sweet deal and take the money upfront. Then the nightmare begins. A small local company comes to you. Cross Country Movers don't own anything, not even the trucks. Hence they never know where your stuff is. You can keep calling and pull your hair but they will keep telling you 'the driver will call you 24 hours before delivery' and they have no idea where the truck is or when it will arrive. We got our stuff three weeks later. Many things broken because no one is responsible; the packers are a different company, the driver different, and the delivery guys someone else. No one cares how your things are. You'd be better off finding a handyman and paying him to do the job. He'll probably break less things and keep you updated on when he's reaching."

When the moving day arrived, the truck driver when over everything, and call the company, and say that the 26 foot truck they send was not all for me, I suppose to used only have of the truck, base on the space the company set for us, we had a two story house with 3 rooms, two dining areas, and two living areas, plus around 50 already packed boxes.. REALLY,ONLY HAVE A TRUCK.!! Definitely and strategic way to get customers to pay more at the day of moving. They wanted us to pay another $2700 after been contracted and paid a deposit of almost $2000..be careful people, NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY.!!
