Read More The movers used special art boxes to keep my fragile clay sculptures and framed oil paintings upright and apart. They also used layers of foam and bubble wrap to cushion my sculptures. When they unpacked everything at my new house, they wore clean gloves and made sure everything was in its place. I'm relieved and thankful that nothing was scratched.

Their movers were well-trained at handling all our tech and electronic equipment – made sure to pack each piece and supportive accessory in padding and good quality packing materials. The delivery was done in a timely manner and not a single piece was compromised in any way during transit. We couldn’t be more grateful!

The moving crew luckily, came prepared with waterproof covers and even helped us lay down plastic sheets inside the house to prevent mud from tracking in. Their proactive approach saved the day!

Run don't walk away from this company. Yes ***** seems like he will take care of your stuff. Its been over a year of their pick up, then delivery of half of my items, the ... Read More Run don't walk away from this company. Yes ***** seems like he will take care of your stuff. Its been over a year of their pick up, then delivery of half of my items, then trying to settle with them. ****** and crew arrived 3 days late 3/21/24 for pickup in ** with a an already full truck. They placed tiny numbered stickers on my items then completely commingled them with someone else items to fit all into truck. Barely able to shut door. I was assured that my items were in warehouse as I waited for them to complete delivery in ** on 7/25/24. Which was well after the expected delivery timeframe. Surprise. A NY registered freighter delivered only half of my items which included boxes of original framed art work, moms Royal Daulton china, irreplaceable heirlooms, and furniture. Then I began the Claims process online. This is a sketchy company as they make it difficult to fill in lengthy details in forms online. Multiple attempts to complete them took hours then they would get deleted. Don't try to call them as they have a friendly automated answering system that puts you on hold for 10 minutes then abruptly drops your call. I called about 20 times, same each time. I emailed and requested forms to be mailed to me. These emails had automated responses. Finally ***** was able to have them mail the forms. These were filled out by me and returned through Certified mail then second time through Registered mail. Today I am informed that after their review, Direct Relocation is willing to pay me $75! The value and weight of items is easily $10,000. Not to mention I paid for delivery of twice as many items than they delivered. I wasn't even seeking damages for items I did receive. They wrapped items in shipping blankets to take to warehouse then removed those blankets. Some had their coded stickers on them so easy to see how that system falls apart. I give them a 1 rating for their friendly demeanor as they rob you blind.

The movers were very polite and respectful, and they clearly explained everything they were doing. They used these heavy-duty plastic bins for my clothes, which kept everything clean and wrinkle-free. They took apart my complicated entertainment center and reassembled it perfectly in my new living room.
