Read More If I could give negative stars, I would. These movers showed up looking completely unprepared—no dolly, no furniture blankets, just a handful of ratty ropes. When I asked about wrapping my fragile items, they said they’d make it work, which apparently meant shoving bubble wrap in random spots and hoping for the best. My biggest grievance was how they handled my piano. I specifically told them it was a family heirloom and needed careful handling. Instead, they placed it on a rolling cart with one wheel missing a chunk of rubber. It wobbled and scraped the pavement all the way to the truck. By the time we arrived at my new place, it was out of tune, scratched to bits, and one of the legs was severely damaged. Trust me, spare yourself the heartache and go with someone else.

They showed up in a truck that looked like it was falling apart—rusted sides, squeaky wheels, the works. I was nervous from the get-go. As they started loading my belongings, one of the guys was so careless that he knocked over a floor lamp in the driveway and just left it there. When I pointed it out, he muttered something under his breath and ignored me. Things got worse when they arrived at my new place and tried to cram my couch through the doorway without removing the legs. I could hear the wood scraping against the frame, and guess what? Big gouges in the door trim and the couch fabric torn. All I got was a half-hearted apology. So disappointing.
