Read More The packers' performance and arrival were equally appalling. I found that my items had been tossed to the bottom when using the wardrobe boxes to store my clothes. After completing their formal education, the packers are expected to be competent. Please don't use them because I get annoyed and agitated.

The Problems Wouldn't Stop Coming

Read More I hired Howards Van Line for a move I had recently. We booked them as movers on the 9th. Now I understand that my move was considered very last minute but there were extenuating circumstances that prevented me from booking sooner. However this is when the issues began. First of all they kept calling my friend who had helped me book the move even though we made it clear I WAS THE CUSTOMER. I ended up not getting in touch with Cody, until less than 24 hours before pickup. In which I gave him an updated inventory. Their inventory size estimate is so incorrect that when I was contacted by the people actually doing the moving less than 24 hours before they were supposed to deliver I ended up having to pay $4500 instead of the $1000 that Cody had estimated. On top of this the movers had forgotten 2 items in my previous apartment, and I am currently trying to go through the claims process. Howards is referring me to another company to file the claim and this company just replied saying that Howards is not registered with them for claims services. Do yourself a favor and go with a different moving company.

They provided far less money for all the damages after breaking half of our furniture and a pricey marble table.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Read More Lazy slow workers. Put items on top of my mattress. Placed my plasma TV on the floor when I specifically asked them not to. They don't know how to organize furniture. Just a horrible experience. Don't use them ever. I won’t ever again. They also left a closet full of heavy boxes. Trifling!!

Read More The good thing…they arrived on time and followed directions on how to get to my unit. However, they were messy movers. They left the empty plastic rolls just on the floor in my apartment, bumped and messed up so many corners that I’ll have to pay for. My bar stools have cracks in them. Would I use them again, absolutely Not what I paid and then to have to come and pay my apartments for damages that were cause on the doors from the move.

They were quiet and didn't disturb the neighbors while they worked, which I really liked. I am satisfied with the results and the fact that nothing was broken or lost during the process.

I liked that they did not waste time talking too much. The whole process felt natural and under control. Once it was done, I felt like I could finally relax.
