Read More I'm a single, widowed mom of a teenager moving from NY to VA. I booked through Movenship, they sent me Noble. First they tried to scam me out of an additional $5k saying I had too much stuff. After "negotiating", they charged me an additional $1k in cash, that went into the guy's pocket, and another $1.5k on the paperwork. They store my stuff for 10 days. I get a call the day before saying they'll be here between 4-6 pm. I get another phone call the next day saying they won't be here until 8-10 pm. Movers get here at 9, tell me it's too far to walk, I have to pay them and additional $500, which I'm sure goes in his pocket (different guys). They dropped boxes left and right, dropped, scratched, broke furniture (some priceless antiques, one where it cannot be repaired). As I opened boxes, discovered many more broken items, even though I packed very well (I'm a truck driver and I don't trust truck drivers with fragile things). Movers were on their phones, stopping the move quite a bit. At one point one of my family members who drove down from NY to help, jumped on the truck herself and started moving stuff in. Both my sister in law (40) and my daughter (14) were sexually harassed by both movers. I did not know this until the next day, otherwise would have said something. They did not finish unpacking until 2:00 am. Then, one of them had the gall to ask for a tip! After I paid them every single penny from my bank account, plus borrowing from my sister in law! And on top of all this, my luggage is missing. I'm sure other things are too, but I'm just starting to unpack. This is the absolute worst moving company! DO NOT HIRE THEM! They are NOT professional movers, will destroy your belongings, and will scam you out of everything you have!
