Read More This is the first time since living in FL that I found assistance like Swift Shift Van Lines. These chicks have raised the bars high for their competitors. Mark and his crew weren't your ordinary movers' staff but a bunch of fun and experienced boys. Recommended!

This business is a scam and uses hidden fee practices in order to undercut other competitors. They will bait you in will low estimate by intentionally leaving the labor a ... Read More This business is a scam and uses hidden fee practices in order to undercut other competitors. They will bait you in will low estimate by intentionally leaving the labor and material cost out of the estimate and telling you that it is “included” in the expenses. Upon arrival to conduct a move, this company will subcontract the move out to a lower rated moving company and increase the service cost by included the labor and materials for your inventory. They also intentionally left out inventory items I told them needed to be moved in the estimate (example being I have 2x king beds with 4x box springs). They did not include the box springs and charged me extra upon arrival. My quoted cost was for $2730 to move from Columbia SC to Colorado Springs CO. This is a military move. Upon arrival to conduct the move, the company added over $2000 in addition cost related to labor and materials (totaling over $4800). I contacted the company and was given a quote for full door to door service move which I was told included labor, material and shipping. Three days prior to move date, they subcontracted it to “Arena Van Lines”. This was done 2 days past the final day I was allowed to cancel the move without losing deposit. The company literally waited until after I couldn’t cancel to slap on a lower rating company and increase moving costs. I called to fix this issue with the company for a week trying to prevent any of this scamming behavior and they told me “you should have looked to see the labor and material cost being included when you signed your estimate”. From a Disabled Veteran (Captain, US Army). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ON YOUR MOVE.

They worked enthusiastically until they were done setting up my appliances and furniture in my new home. They were also very careful when relocating my colossal sofa and high-end kitchen gadgets. My move to TX would not have been as smooth without their expert assistance.
