Read More Claiming to be a loving company, but uses third party companies. Charged $4900 for a 2 bed apartment. I see the same cost for other reviews for a 3 bedroom house. Estimate was $2100 then jacked up the price on pick up date and wouldn’t give a refund for the initial deposit. This is a bait and switch operation. They still havent delivered and Jack whoever that is claiming to be a manager just wants to argue and not listen to the customers valid points. They want you to not tell the truth in these reviews and call them exaggeration. The Please read section is a joke. Review is, but follow these guidelines.

Cost and value are very fair with American Family Mover. We had a small move with stairs-only in one location and an elevator in another. The truck was small enough to get into the alley and big enough to hold a two or three bedroom move.
