Read More I was so nervous about my move from Texas to Arizona, but American Family Mover made everything seamless! They were upfront with their pricing, everyone was on time and professional, and they took great care of my possessions. I can't recommend them enough for any moving needs.

Read More These guys were awesome. I had to hire movers at the last minute when everyone who said they would help me move were suddenly unavailable. American Family Mover got me scheduled for the next morning, and what would have taken me all day and multiple trips, they were able to move everything in about 2 hours. It was amazing! They were professional, friendly, and super polite. I had a knee injury so all I could do was tell them what room to put things in and they were extremely easy to work with.

Read More This was the worst moving experience I have every encountered! Your website is inaccurate dishonest. You need to update your payment options since you do not accept credit cards. We were quoted and signed a contract with one price and once the movers loaded our items on the truck they asked for an extra $500.00 stating it was a service fee that the sales people often forget to tell the customer about. We were never able to get an ETA on our items, every time we called we would receive an answer of "I don't know when your stuff will be delivered?" We were promised by the sales guy, Chad our stuff would be picked up in Orange County and delivered to Des Moines by May 1st. We originally asked for a pick up of April 14th and Chad talked us out of that stating to schedule the pick up on April 24th so they could drive direct to Iowa by May 1st. We had also stressed the importance of wanting our items the first week of May since my husband would be flying there to receive the items. My husband and I reached out multiple times to get some sort of ETA with no date given in return, I even sent an email and to this day have never received a response. On May 27th we received a delivery date of May 30th. My nephew took off work to receive the delivery, my husband called on Thursday to get a time frame since one was not given, he was then informed the truck had broken down in Oregon and they could not tell us when our stuff would be delivered. Again, terrible customer service. Please note that all of these calls are the customer reaching out and American Family Movers nor the brokered mover you hired never alerted us of any of this until WE called which is not what your website states. Our items were finally delivered today on 6/5 with multiple items broken that were wrapped very well. At this point I feel you owe us a refund for breaking contract and charging us an extra $500.00 that was not justified, we had no more items then we disclosed and from reading your contract that is the only reason you would be charging extra. I feel the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing within your company.

Read More DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is the worst company I have worked with in any industry, PERIOD. They are a moving broker affiliated with these other brokers; West Coast Movers, Chiarella, McKinzie, Four Winds Relocation. This company uses deceitful practices to get your business. They do not follow the FMCSA regulations. They picked up my shipment and while loading it they added a 500.00 shuttle fee. I sent numerous emails and phone calls to have this removed. They were in breach of contract as they were required to deliver within 7-17 business days. I sent numerous emails and phone calls to get an update on my shipment and when it would be shipped. It sat in a warehouse for 34 days although Jack with McKinzie advised us this shipment was going to be shipped directly to its destination. The customer service representatives were unable to provide any updates on when the shipment would be delivered or even when it was going to loaded on a truck. After 43 days the shipment arrived. The boxes are smashed and the contents are broken. These boxes were in brand new condition when they were shipped. My daughter is in tears as she is unpacking her belongings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! she has opened one box and there are 4 broken glasses. I packed these items and with a normal move there would not be any damage to any of her belongings. These boxes have been thrown around without any regards to the content. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were in breach of contract as of May 23, 2025. They still requested the final payment in cash. Although they claim numerous payment options on their websites they demanded cash at delivery. Jack from Mckinzie stated only cash although a representative from American family Mover said they accept Zelle, Venmo, and cashier's check. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Read More This was the easiest move we have ever made! The guys were so fast and so efficient! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! And I will most definitely use them for our future moves. They really do everything from packing to heavy lifting and breaking down and building back up your furniture. Oh and the absolute best part is they are so affordable! Thank you guys so much for all your hard work! We are so very grateful!
