Read More Five Stars for CREW! We were so impressed with their communication, promptness, and work ethic. They took every precaution to ensure our items were handled and delivered with care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is the worst company I have worked with in any industry, PERIOD. They are a moving broker affiliated with these other brokers; West Coast Mo ... Read More DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is the worst company I have worked with in any industry, PERIOD. They are a moving broker affiliated with these other brokers; West Coast Movers, Chiarella, McKinzie, Four Winds Relocation. This company uses deceitful practices to get your business. They do not follow the FMCSA regulations. They picked up my shipment and while loading it they added a 500.00 shuttle fee. I sent numerous emails and phone calls to have this removed. They were in breach of contract as they were required to deliver within 7-17 business days. I sent numerous emails and phone calls to get an update on my shipment and when it would be shipped. It sat in a warehouse for 34 days although Jack with McKinzie advised us this shipment was going to be shipped directly to its destination. The customer service representatives were unable to provide any updates on when the shipment would be delivered or even when it was going to loaded on a truck. After 43 days the shipment arrived. The boxes are smashed and the contents are broken. These boxes were in brand new condition when they were shipped. My daughter is in tears as she is unpacking her belongings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! she has opened one box and there are 4 broken glasses. I packed these items and with a normal move there would not be any damage to any of her belongings. These boxes have been thrown around without any regards to the content. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were in breach of contract as of May 23, 2025. They still requested the final payment in cash. Although they claim numerous payment options on their websites they demanded cash at delivery. Jack from Mckinzie stated only cash although a representative from American family Mover said they accept Zelle, Venmo, and cashier's check. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Read More This was the easiest move we have ever made! The guys were so fast and so efficient! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! And I will most definitely use them for our future moves. They really do everything from packing to heavy lifting and breaking down and building back up your furniture. Oh and the absolute best part is they are so affordable! Thank you guys so much for all your hard work! We are so very grateful!

Carlos Francisco made sure to carefully wrap all of my furniture and breakable items to ensure all items were well taken care of during the move. I would recommend this moving service to anyone I know and to specifically ask for Ethan and Ray! American Family Mover has a customer for life! First impressions are everything and they exceeded my expectations.

I was impressed at how each item was securely wrapped and taped to protect it and all tape and wraps were removed and cleared from my new address. Movers were very careful moving the furniture out off my old house and through my new house. Thanks for a job well done and I will definitely use you again.

We were also very happy with the fair price and consistent communication to be sure we were satisfied. The team was friendly and polite. Made for a very pleasant and stress free move.

Read More Claiming to be a loving company, but uses third party companies. Charged $4900 for a 2 bed apartment. I see the same cost for other reviews for a 3 bedroom house. Estimate was $2100 then jacked up the price on pick up date and wouldn’t give a refund for the initial deposit. This is a bait and switch operation. They still havent delivered and Jack whoever that is claiming to be a manager just wants to argue and not listen to the customers valid points. They want you to not tell the truth in these reviews and call them exaggeration. The Please read section is a joke. Review is, but follow these guidelines.

Read More They showed up on time and worked really efficiently, while taking care of our possessions. Anything that needed extra wrapping or care they handled with ease. Cost and value are very fair with American Family Mover. We had a small move with stairs-only in one location and an elevator in another. The truck was small enough to get into the alley and big enough to hold a two or three bedroom move.
