Read More Communication is nonexistent after they have your items and won't deliver them. Tripled my quote when they knew I had no choice when they were there to move me out of state. Multiple big ticket items damaged. Claims can't be filed if they don't sign off on the delivery ticket - but how do you unpack a whole house for them to do this?? We are filing suit for our items that have still not been delivered six weeks later.

Read More They showed up right at 8:00 on the dot as scheduled. They were so friendly and really busted their butts to get our move done as quickly as possible. We lived on the third floor of an apartment building and they were very careful with all of our furniture bringing it in the house and out of the house. Wanda at the main office made the scheduling of the move super easy. She was so nice and very easy to talk to. I 10 out of 10 recommend this company if you have a move coming

I want to personally thank Kieth and Jason for doing an outstanding job. They handled the move with impressive efficiency, professionalism, and a genuinely positive attitude that made a usually stressful process surprisingly pleasant. From start to finish, they worked quickly and carefully, making sure everything was handled with care. Their upbeat demeanor and teamwork made a big difference throughout the day. The pricing was very fair, with no surprises, and I truly felt like I was getting excellent value for the service provided. I would highly recommend American Family Mover—especially Kieth Jason—to any of my friends or anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free move. Great service, great people.

Horrible experience

I have moved several times in my life. This was my first cross country move, and after speaking with Chad, the representative who did my quote who by the way no longer wo ... Read More I have moved several times in my life. This was my first cross country move, and after speaking with Chad, the representative who did my quote who by the way no longer works for the company as soon as we signed our contract, we decided to go with this company. I don't know how they do the initial quote and estimate, but it was half as much as they ended up charging us at pick up. Majority of my stuff was packed. They proceeded to pack up the rest of my belongings, not properly wrapping items just tossing them in a box. Items were received broken, including my television set and bedframe, which they were also supposed to put back together and did not. I do not recommend this company and will definitely be having to put in an insurance claim now.

Read More I’ve never hired movers before but I’m so glad I did this time! I chose American Family Mover because of their reviews and can honestly say the good reviews are 100% true. From the first contact with Juan when he helped me make a reservation and broke things down for me in detail, I felt confident enough to commit to booking. Before the move, Carlos helped me confirm all the details and answered all the questions and concerns I had. And then on moving day, Sam and Alex were my movers and they were PHENOMENAL. They were not only on time but they showed up EARLY! I was visibly stressed out but they made me feel so at ease wrapping all my things nicely with so much care. These guys are PROS they were so fast and efficient they even finished early! They packed up the truck perfectly and secure. This move couldn’t have gone any smoother and it was beyond worth it. I will definitely use them for my next move. Thank you!

American Family Mover packing team today was AMAZING!! ❤️ I really don’t know what I would’ve done without their help. I have a move scheduled with ECO Movers on ... Read More American Family Mover packing team today was AMAZING!! ❤️ I really don’t know what I would’ve done without their help. I have a move scheduled with ECO Movers on Monday, but was feeling incredibly overwhelmed with the remaining packing I needed to get done, especially for odd shaped or bulky items, and remaining dishes and art. American Family Mover mobilized quickly, and the pack team showed up on time and finished the job quickly and thoughtfully, mindful of fragile items and of the forthcoming move so things will travel and store well. I can’t express how thankful I am for the care they took today, respecting my items and time. Thank you!!! I’d highly recommend American Family Mover and feel confident that our belongings will be well cared for and arrive safely.

They had guys inside wrapping furniture/disassembling and guys inside the truck loading our furniture and playing Tetris to make sure it all fit and was safely secured. T ... Read More They had guys inside wrapping furniture/disassembling and guys inside the truck loading our furniture and playing Tetris to make sure it all fit and was safely secured. They loaded up both trucks and these guys worked their butts off for a solid 9 hours and all of our furniture was in the same shape as it was before. Not 1 scratch, dent, ding, nothing! They placed all the furniture where we wanted it and even would move it around if we asked them to. They were all very polite and respectful. They put the boxes exactly where we wanted them. Disassembled and reassembled all of our beds. For how hard these guys worked the move was reasonably priced and stayed within the quote and time frame Lyndsay (in the office) had given us. This was by far the BEST moving experience I have ever received. Trust me, I've had some pretty bad experiences and would HIGHLY recommend using this company for your next move.
