Read More We used American Family Mover to move over the weekend and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service! Carlos Francisco were the movers assigned to my job, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. They worked so well together, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Despite having to carry heavy furniture up multiple flights of stairs, they never complained or showed any signs of slowing down. They were professional, friendly, and took great care with all of my belongings. I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for reliable and hardworking movers!

They were prompt in response to scheduling and arrival on moving day. They listened to everything we asked and really put in the utmost effort. They even assisted at the end in unloading my business truck, how amazing and kind. I cannot say enough good things! Highly recommend! My family and I thank you so much for everything. We told our realtor to recommend. It’s a must for stress free moving. They made it happen.

Read More By far, the WORST customer service I’ve experienced in my entire life. Colby provided me with a quote to move from CA to PA. I spent over 1 hour on the phone with him going over all of the items I needed moved. He claims to have had over 15 years of experience but completely screwed me over. Movers were supposed to arrive Monday between 9am-12pm, I received a call 2 days before that date to confirm that arrival time. The movers called me at 12pm the day of pick up saying they were told it was between 12pm-4pm, but that they would be running late and would arrive between 5pm-8pm. I received another call from the movers saying they wouldn’t be making it at all that day, and would arrive the following morning between 7am-8am. They got there at 10am the following day. After looking at the items we had to move, they said the quote I was given was wrong, that we had twice the amount of stuff and it would cost more. Somehow, the amount of items doubled, but the price quadrupled…please make that make sense. My husband and I had to miss 2 days of work for this. When I booked with AFM, I gave Colby my move in date, apparently that is just the earliest date they can deliver… but it can take 21 business days to actually receive our belongings. The customer service is completely useless, the only person that answers the phone is Ray, and he has no information to provide me with. Both Colby and Steve Coburn were very on top of communicating with me when they needed my money… over the last month I have called and emailed numerous times and those all go unanswered. AFM is committing a federal offense by stealing over $1000 from me with this move. I was quoted around $3,500 for this move, the movers arrived and told me it would be $12,000. I was not given any information on the company that actually picked up our stuff, I had to research it based on pictures we took as the truck was driving away. We are now across the country and our belongings are still sitting in CA waiting to be loaded up, I just called and they still don’t even have a driver scheduled for my delivery. This company is completely fraudulent and are only on top of communicating with you when it comes to collecting your money. I just left another message with Ray to have Colby or Steve contact me. It has now been over 1 week and they are still avoiding me. Do not use this company unless you want to be taken advantage of, ignored and stolen from. I am still waiting to hear from Colby or Steve Coburn to make this right.
