My recent experience with their service was nothing short of a complete disaster, and it's an absolute miracle that I didn’t end up on a reality TV show about moving horrors.Firstly, the so-called "professionals" arrived hours late, with no apology or explanation. When they finally showed up, they seemed to think that throwing my belongings haphazardly into their truck was acceptable. Spoiler alert: it's not.The damage inflicted upon my property was both extensive and inexplicable. Furniture was scratched, and dented, and in one particularly egregious instance, my favorite antique lamp was reduced to a pile of glass shards. And as if that weren’t enough, the broker they used, Cobra Van Lines, managed to lose several boxes. Lost. Not misplaced. Gone. My attempts to contact their customer service resulted in completely unhelpful responses.To top it all off, the final bill was an unwelcome surprise—nearly double the original quote. No explanation was given. You’d think the unexpected complication would be their inability to perform even the most basic of moving tasks.In short, if you value your belongings, your sanity, and your wallet, steer clear of Amerisafe AND Cobra Van Lines. They both have redefined the concept of incompetence and provided a masterclass on how not to handle a moving job. Save yourself the headache and find a service that actually understands the meaning of professionalism!! And I know you will tell me to contact customer service to see what you can 'do for me' but we all know you won't do anything.
