This was the worst move EVER! It turned out to be a nightmare. Every single person I dealt with at Amerisafe was rude and disrespectful. The agent who handled my quote, p ... Read More This was the worst move EVER! It turned out to be a nightmare. Every single person I dealt with at Amerisafe was rude and disrespectful. The agent who handled my quote, provided information in writing that was not company's policy. Per the contract/quote, they required a 25% deposit but requested more than the 25% from me. When I questioned that, no one responded. I was also told by the same agent, the remaining balance was due upon delivery as my move was under 300 miles. My move was exactly 239 miles. Every agent I spoke to prior to the move said that was incorrect and they do not know why the agent told me that which was also confirmed in an email. The company they secured to perform the actual move, Ocean Moving Inc, damaged my television and bed frame. I've tried calling Amerisafe and even sent an email, but it's been crickets on their end. I have not received copies of all the documents signed with the Ocean Moving. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BROKER! I WAS WARNED ABOUT THEM AFTER I MADE MY DEPOSIT! NEVER AGAIN!

Read More This company took advantage of an 82 year old with dementia. She hired them just by googling “good moving company” not knowing they are out of Florida- she is in Arkansas. Made her put 7k down payment and a total of 14k to move a 2 bedroom across town. When we the family found out and tried to cancel over 30 days before the scheduled move,the company refused to give back deposit. Horrible experience and likely just scamers.

Read More If you Google "Best Long Distance Moving Companies" you will see number 3 - AmeriSafe Moving Services. Be cautious in selecting this company. They are NOT a "moving" company, but are a "broker". They will take your information and using a formula, based on bedrooms, to determine a cost. At that point they will select a moving company that will pick up and move your possessions. Also, from experience, they do not ask enough questions up front to include ALL odd pieces of furniture you might want included. Your cost is determined by volume. If you don't get this worked out before movers come, you will have problems and it will cost you! As I said in the beginning, beware - MY experience with AmeriSafe was not pleasant!
