Read More I recently had a very disappointing experience with Charter Van Lines Inc. and feel compelled to share it to help others avoid the same issues.Unprofessional Conduct: The movers arrived 30 minutes late, were not in uniform, and used an unmarked rental truck, which raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of the service. They pressured me to proceed with the move without a proper explanation of additional charges.Miscommunication: Upon arrival, the movers informed me that I needed additional packing, long carry, and space, which was not communicated during the initial agreement. They claimed I had 17 more boxes than estimated, leading to unexpected and unjustified costs.Increased Charges: The cost of the move was suddenly quoted to be $1,800 more than the initial estimate. The on-site person used a piece of paper and an iPhone calculator to quote this amount, which was highly unprofessional and inconsistent with the initial estimate provided.Lack of Response: Despite my multiple attempts to resolve these issues and request a refund for my deposit, I have not received a satisfactory response from the company. The service provided did not meet the expectations set forth in our agreement, and the additional charges were not communicated clearly or professionally.Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Charter Van Lines Inc. and would not recommend them based on my experience.

They even marked each box and piece of furniture to make it easier for me to unload and set up in my new home.
