Read More I had a frustrating experience with this moving company and I'm hesitant to recommend them. I would recommend to look for a moving company that keeps your belongings in one truck and avoids truck transfers. While the pickup went smoothly, the condition of our items upon delivery was disappointing. Several pieces of furniture were broken or gouged, and some work equipment was missing components, rendering it useless and requiring replacement. Additionally, an office cabinet key to our in home office setup was damaged and needed immediate replacement. The delivery process also resulted in fresh dents to our newly purchased home, which, while repairable, was an added inconvenience. To top it off, when we requested insurance / compensation for our damages, we received only around $153. My advice is to opt for more expensive coverage or avoid moving valuable items with this company altogether, or just find someone else.

Read More I’ve hired movers a few time and had some good and some bad experiences. I hired IVL based on their reputation and a reffferal I got from a friend who had used them. They did a great job throughout the process and I found them very easy to work with. We had no damage and the move went really well I would plan on using them again if needed. I would also like to thank Mike, the driver who did a great job with overseeing the process of the move.

Trusted IVL to move our house hold goods from Louisiana to Georgia. This company has terrible customer service annd communication. Wasn’t informed when my shipment left ... Read More Trusted IVL to move our house hold goods from Louisiana to Georgia. This company has terrible customer service annd communication. Wasn’t informed when my shipment left the port. Had to call multiple times to find out that the shipment didn’t make its original date and had been pushed back. We were not informed of possible port fees until shipment was already underway. The fees were almost hidden in the email after the signature block. After our shipment had cleared customs the contracted company could not reach our shipment until 4 days after causing us to incur extra port charges. Will have to pay almost $1000 extra in port and extra equipment fees after paying $11,000 for the move itself. Do not use this company

Read More With less than 24 hours notice international van lines brokered may move out of state to a third-party company. The third-party company has been sketchy unfriendly unhelpful and has not treated our belongings with any amount of care or professionalism. The third-party contractor whom international Van lines hired also added a Large sum of additional fees that we had been assured were covered when we added large items that needed packing like a TV or chair to our manifest. TLDR Knowing what I know now instead of using international van lines I would have opted instead to rent a truck and drive friends and neighbors with pizza and beer. At least then I would’ve known I got what I paid for. International van lines I would LOVE to speak to someone from customer service.

Read More Don't be fooled with overly glossed over reviews. If someone takes the time to write a long review there is probably a good reason for it and not some AI generated review. I did an international move from Orlando Florida to TX. I'm a veteran and have moved back and forth overseas with the military 8 times over a 20 year career so I have experience with moving. Rarely did I have anything damaged as it was all properly wrapped and packaged. This time was completely different. I've had multiple items not just damaged but destroyed. Television looked like it was stepped on (destroyed), antique vase put in a box with no wrapping or other protection (destroyed) , fragile glassware put in boxes with stereo equipment and nothing was wrapped (destroyed), dining chair leg completely snapped off (destroyed) amongst other items damaged. Moving looks like there were rodents present as we found items with chewing marks. The company that unpacked the shipment was horrified by what they saw. I've tried contacting the company but have gotten the run around and it seems they have ghosted me.

Read More We got off to a good start with the account manager being super friendly, responsive to emails and telling me everything I wanted to hear. After money exchanged hands, the story changed completely. We paid for a full service move from NYC to Chicago. About a week before the move, I got a list of prohibited items including alcohol, liquids of any kind, computers, medicines, cleaning products among other things. We had a huge collection of very expensive alcohol that we had to leave behind. Not to mention a large amount of nice facial creams and beauty products. Something else that also wasn’t mentioned until after we paid the deposit? The fact that it could be up to 3 weeks after our requested delivery date before we got our items. We are currently in temporary housing with a baby and still have no idea when our things will be available. I’ve reached out multiple times and all I get are generic responses saying things like “we understand this can be frustrating” and “thank you for your patience during this process”. Although I think it’s ridiculous that I may have to wait an additional 3 weeks to get my stuff, I have made my peace with that. What I find unacceptable is that they can’t even give me an estimated date of arrival. We are supposed to move out of our temporary housing next week. How can we move to a new apartment with a baby if we don’t have beds, a crib or anything else? Do yourself a favor and just use PODS.

Instead I got 3 and it was the last day of our lease. The first thing out of the supervisors mouth was “this is too big can we come back tomorrow?”Now I’m dealing with someone with the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered in a customer-facing role who straight up said she won’t even say she’s sorry our situation is so tough.Stay away from this place like the plague. You don’t need this awful back office support for a move. Go find one that’s run by veterans or something. You’ll get way better service.PS: I love the clearly automated response with an unexpanded variable “{Reviewer first name}” it really reinforces how much I feel like they care about my experience.

Read More Liars and cheats!! I should have stayed away but now I am stuck with none of my belongings in an empty house! I have already paid thousands more than my quote because of added items (somewhat my fault) and items they claimed they didn't know about even though I sent pics and confirmed on the phone. I was told I would just " pick my delivery date" but on the day of the move I was told my items were going 3 hours in the opposite direction to be off loaded in a warehouse. What?! I just found out they give a 21 day delivery window. I have moved out of states many times and have always had the semi just pick up and drive to the new house within a few days.Husband can't work without his tools. So we have no belongings no ability to work for up to 3 weeks.Avoid IVL! They are liars and will cheat you! Horrible company.
