Read More Do not hire this company. They are impossible to work with. Got a quote from Tony for one amount, then it went up out of nowhere. Then when the moving company showed (FYI Menards is just a broker) the moving company had an entirely different quote. They had already loaded my stuff, then we discovered the discrepancy, and Menards did nothing to resolve the issue, just told them to unload it. But this was after an hour of waiting for a response and trying to get in touch with someone. Now I can’t contact Tony, the person who originally promised my price. Tony, on a recorded call told me that my money was fully refundable if they did not complete my move. Now all of my stuff is back in my house and they have $1140 of my money.

The moving company showed up wanted an extra $4000.They went to their truck to call dispatch and left us. Menards refused to answer our calls. We had to dispute the credit card charge because they wouldn’t refund our deposit money. Don’t use these thieves, they are nothing but a big scam. Update - 6 weeks later, they disputed my credit card dispute. They’re still trying to charge me for a move that never happened. These guys are thieves..

They do not stick to their word , they increase their pricing at time of pick up and there is zero communication between them and the third party driving companies they hire to move your stuff after they have collected their payment. They also store your stuff in a warehouse for an extended period of time instead of doing the job themselves. They are scoundrels and even the driver said that this is not the first instance (of the same nature) that he has encountered with them. You are better off paying a little more to a more reputable company that has their stuff together because Menards IS NOT IT!!!!Mr Menard you need to stop scamming people and putting the blame on the customers asking them if they are a real person. You sound very unprofessional in your response comments and it shows. You take 0 responsibility and I’ve had almost the same problems as these other customers. I will gladly upload the entire signed contract with your logo on it if you would like.

Read More This is the WORST experience I have had with movers. Communication was AWFUL! They rarely answer the phone and when they do, they give you the run around then get upset with you for asking questions. The 3rd party movers they use are TERRIBLE! They were 2 days late which costed me money! Then their boss wouldn't answer his phone so they sat ay my place for 4 hours waiting on the "green light" from him! They were very unprofessional and disrespectful even the "boss" telling me "drink some wine and relax!" AWFUL! I am now missing items. I counted and took pictures of every single box. My couch and chair was light colored and now it's got black spots all over it. My TV stand is full of scratches. My $4k mattress is damaged and now unusable! This is NOT a company you need to use to move. They talk down to you like you're incapable of understanding... they gaslight you and refuse to take responsibility for their actions! RUN FAR AWAY!

They tell you they don’t sell your moving job, then they send Trusted Good Moving and Menards said I would have to pay with money order, cashiers check or cash, I paid with cashiers check they took it and they told me how much I would owe when they delivered and when they got here he said he had to call his boss because it was made out to Menards and they wouldn’t take it and the boss said I owe them $2500. More which they told me when the pick up my stuff they I owe $750.00. They said if I don’t pay it I don’t get my stuff. I started crying! I paid it because I just moved to Florida. I’m not done with this. Have to say the two men they picked up my stuff and the same two that dropped off my stuff were very nice they were only doing theirjob doing what the boss says. Which both bosses from two different companies are jokes make a quick buck. The first boss says we don’t sell your contract we will take care of you, well you did you screwed me bad! So hopefully anybody reading this will think twice before getting a moving company. Get a pod!!!!!!!!!!!

Read More I’m a heavy reviewer. I like to take my chances even when people have bad reviews for some odd reason. This review will consist of live updates. Right now I’ll start off with a 3 star only because Nate really fought for my business which I really appreciated. The price was not as high as other moving companies.On 8/12/24 I ordered and paid for a move from FL to TX with an expected pick up for 08/17 - 08/18 and I paid extra for expedited delivery for 08/20.On 8/16 I had to call the company to see if a date had been confirmed since I had not heard from anyone. I was then told my pick up will be 08/18 between 10 am - 1 pm. So now I wait to see what happens. I’ll be back on 08/18 for an update.Update: On 8/18, which was the loading day, the movers arrived within the given time frame. However, they showed up in a 26ft U-Haul instead of a proper moving company truck. The issue started when they mentioned that the estimated 602 cubic ft that I had paid for was not enough to accommodate all the items listed on my price sheet. I was quite upset as I believe it is the responsibility of Menards to provide an accurate estimate, either by sending someone to assess the items or by conducting a virtual tour, similar to other moving companies I have contacted.As a result, my initial price of $3,333.34 skyrocketed to $6,555, as I was informed that I only paid for 1/4 of the truck and that the estimate was off by 250 cubic ft. The movers packed the truck in a way that seemed like they were trying to maximize the space to get more money out of me. I was unable to reach customer service despite calling them three times, and the same goes for Nate, whom I also called three times.Furthermore, I was not informed by Menards about additional charges for heavy lifting. After disputing the situation, the movers attempted to backtrack after I confronted them about the extra $3,200. Eventually, they reduced the additional charge to $868 after I spoke with someone named Phillip at Menards, who confirmed that the amount was not correct.While I cannot entirely blame Menards for this mishap, I believe that they share some responsibility, especially if the moving company, Sunshine National Movers, frequently works with them. I will complete my overall review on the delivery date, 8/20, to see if the shipment arrives on time, given that I paid extra for expedited delivery.

They sent men with a penske truck to get my things and then when they finally delivered it to me they had moved it to a different truck and only one small guy came to unload it all. They ended up breaking items that were decades old and are irreplaceable!!!!! They company they hired to do the move was insanely unprofessional and very rude.Please please please read the reviews and do not use these frauds!
