They treated all my valuables with care and squeezed in some time to label everything clearly too. Robert even cross-checked with the inventory list to ensure nothing was left behind. The day before, literally less than 24 hours, they called me to confirm, I went over my list and they tried to over double my estimate. The list was wrong they had sent, even had furniture I didn't own. It was horrible. I had walked the apartment, naming things one by one on the original call, and it was wrong. When I first contacted them, I told them they were out of my price range, then came the "but wait..." and they had lowered it to meet what I could pay and then walked me through signing everything on the same call. He was sooooo nice. I actually thanked him over and over and told him how grateful I was to find someone who would help my daughter and I, even prayed for him. He was a con artist. I was a desperate single mom with a daughter living where I knew no one to help me and was crying because I couldn't get movers - he pretended to be compassionate and helpful. Then they doubled my estimate, KNEW I couldn't pay it, and then kept my deposit of over $1,100. I had to find a Uhaul with a car tow,on less than a 12 hour timeline to get out of the apartment we were in and not pay another months rent, hire private help through UHaul, and drive the whole thing multiple states away. It was a nightmare I am still paying for. They knew they had me in a corner. I talked to Customer Service who was the rudest and cold hearted person I have talked to - ZERO help. I asked them to check the recording of my call and they would see what the guy did and how I had detailed my list, etc. THEY DON'T RECORD THEIR CALLS, not even the Customer Service ones. So, you have no proof of their shady practices. Who doesn't record calls now days? People trying to hide something. You cannot take them at their word. It was a disaster, and it continues to be as I try and pay off this debt for them doing nothing except scam a single mom pastor.
