The crew was hard working and since I was already time-bound, it was great that they divided things among each other to get more stuff done in less time. It was unconventionally large and I was fearing they might not be able to handle it, but they took the challenge head-on. They padded it from top to bottom and made sure to thoroughly wrap it in strong blankets. It arrived without a scratch to me!

Read More Honestly, this was the smoothest move I’ve ever had. I had a peculiar set of items, including a heavy marble countertop piece that I usually use as a decorative shelf. The movers handled that with extra caution, wrapping it in two layers of padded blankets before strapping it down. They also helped me disconnect and pack my printer, which was still half-full of paper. When we arrived at the new house, they laid out a thick runner on my hardwood floors to prevent scratches. They wore little shoe covers to keep the carpets clean. Above and beyond!

They will tell you one number and then the contract provided to the movers will be another forcing you to pay almost double. I did have more stuff and knew I would have to pay more. They will not be transparent about how they calculated any of the estimates or cubic feet. They will tell you that you have 1900 cf and then the estimate on the day of pick up is for only 1366. Liars and scam artists.
