Read More Movers went above and beyond. They wrapped my outdoor gear in plastic to keep it clean during transfer. My framed artwork was packed in flat crates with reinforced cardboard sides. By setting up my mattress and bed frame when we arrived, they saved working hours.

Price doubled at time of pickup from price quoted at video walk thru, refused to take money order - wanted cash, $600 additional fee for same day delivery, 3 lamps broken ... Read More Price doubled at time of pickup from price quoted at video walk thru, refused to take money order - wanted cash, $600 additional fee for same day delivery, 3 lamps broken even though they "wrapped" it, at time of delivery driver wanted additional money for the distance (I guess Google Maps is wrong), I tipped them at the beginning of the job but was asked for more tip money for other employee, items picked up at 9am but not delivered until 7:15pm because they had another move job in between my move, we had to remove most of tape from furniture ourselves, in order not to be charged more money, we told movers to leave boxes in living room & take bed, nightstands, desk & file upstairs because it was going on 9:30. It was so bad that I broke down and cried from the horrible service and different "quotes" given by Menards Moving.

Special care was taken by the movers to these items, they were wrapped up well and unloaded without any single problem. I could not have found a better service.

They comforted my dad about his old record player and explained how they would pack my mom's delicate teacup collection. They never hurried or seemed annoyed despite the long day. Their kindness exceeded my expectations for a relocation business.

Menards hired a disreputable carrier to handle my move. Only one man showed up to load. He did not wrap my goods in blankets, as promised, and my furniture was damaged. T ... Read More Menards hired a disreputable carrier to handle my move. Only one man showed up to load. He did not wrap my goods in blankets, as promised, and my furniture was damaged. The carrier loaded my goods, then demanded additional money, claiming my load was larger than contracted. This was a complete lie! I was told it would cost me $1500 to have my goods unloaded. I paid the extra $920. Menards was contacted but took no action to remediate the situation. Menards has not sent the requested refund of the overpayment. They were 2 days late picking up and 12 days late delivering. Please do not use this company. You will regret it. I know I do!
