Read More Several previous reviews are similar to mine. I can’t caution you enough but please read on. 1. If you receive a bid that is not guaranteed, you will not be happy. 2. If you receive a bid that doesn't have a "maximum guarantee" amount, you will not be happy. 3. If your salesman tells you delivery in 7 days and your driver tells you 2 days and the company berates you, because you signed a contract that allows 17 days, you will not be happy. 4. If your driver tells you, "this is all b******t", you will not be happy. 5. If your delivery guy wants an additional $300 dollars at delivery for the stairs, even though there was an elevator, you will not be happy. 6. If your original bid was $14,000 and the company eventually charges you $20,000, you will not be happy, 7. If the driver tells you that they will load and deliver on the same truck, avoiding unloading and reloading from a warehouse, you will not be happy. 8. If you pay for a full pack but pack some of your own stuff, don't expect any reduction in price. You will not be happy. 9. If you unwrap many items packed by the company during move in but they still want an additional $300, after having already paid them an ADDITIONAL $7000, you will not be happy. 10. If you think your move is costing one amount but they want an additional 50%, and then, after they’ve picked up your stuff, won’t even give you a delivery date until you pay, you won’t be happy. 11. If your dining room table has a huge gouge in the top and a chair leg was completely broken off, you will not be happy. 12. If you use ANY moving company besides United Regions Van Lines, you will be happier.

Read More As a military family, I would not recommend United Regions Lane Lines to my worst enemy. Not only did our quote change mid move, but the quality of the moving service we received was truly despicable. The movers left thousands of dollars of damage to our house that includes drywall, hardwood floors, paint, trim molding, scratches to our genuine leather sofa, damage to a solid metal gun safe and scratches on a mahogany coffee table. Upon delivery we informed the movers and United Regions Van Lines customer service about the damage and nothing was done about it. When we contacted United Regions Van Lines to open a claim for the damage to the house and furniture and we were directed to their claims company - My Moving Claims.com. My Moving Claims.com customer service is just as terrible as United Regions Van Lines. When submitting a claim through My Moving Claims.com the portal is very archaic, so much to the point that it seems like they make it difficult on purpose so people get discouraged and not submit their claims. My Moving Claims.com portal has limits on how many items you can attach to your claim, how big your files are, if your pictures are labeled with your name, and how many pictures you can upload for one damaged area/item. Additionally, My Moving Claims.com does not allow you to log into the portal to view or update your case, you must submit a request to have them email you with an update. This process is truly terrible and gives United Regions Van Lines and My Moving Claims.com the upper-hand because they have the ability to state that the documents provided are incorrect, they never received the documents needed to complete the claim, or alleged that you never even submitted a claim (they attempted to assert these 3 excuses to us but I kept documentation of all the communication and claims we submitted).

Read More This is by far the worst company I have ever had dealings with! Moving halfway across the country is stressful . To alleviate that stress, we decided to hire a professional team to pack and move us. My husband read tons of reviews and finally decided on United Regions Van Lines. We have now determined that all the "5 star" review are fake and paid for. Our first call was to a sales representative by the name of Philip. We did a video call walk through to get a detailed account of all our belongings to determine how many cubic feet would be needed for our move. Philip also sold us on their "white glove" service. He explained that professional packers would come in and carefully wrap and pack all our belongings for us (Worst mistake ever, but I'll get to that later). We accepted the offer, set the date, signed the contract, and paid the deposit. From then on the communication was atrocious. QC was supposed to call us a week prior to pack/pickup date. This never happened. We left several voicemails the went unreturned. Several emails were sent to Philip, also unreturned. One day prior to pack/pickup, Lisa called my husband to gouge him for another $2K. Ok, fine. Money paid. Day one of packing/pickup, no one shows up. No calls. We called several times but couldn't reach anyone. Day two rolls around and we're finally able to get a hold of Carin, a supposed manager, at United Regions Van Lines. She charms us with her wit and sarcasm and assures us that our house is only a one day job and that the crew and driver will show up on day three to do everything start to finish. Ok, great. So, day three comes and surprise surprise! No crew, no driver. This is a Sunday you see, so the office is closed. Day four, We are now outside of the contracted dates. By this time we are very anxious. We have to be out of the house completely by the next day. Finally get a hold of Carin again and she apologized for the inconvenience buy says that the driver and crew will arrive at our house shortly. Now here is where things really start to go south. I stay at the hotel with the kids and the dog to ensure that we will not be on the way. My husband meets the driver, Russell, who informs him that he doesn't have a crew to "White Glove" pack us. But not to worry, one is being put together as we speak. As random people start to show up to our house, my husband hears them introducing themselves and referencing the daily work ad from Craigslist. Ok.... so I'm guessing these are not professional packers. Nope, not at all. When my husband sees the first person take out a kitchen drawer and dump it in to a GIANT clothes box, he starts to panic. This is not "careful packing". Russell is nowhere to be found so my husband tries to be everywhere at once to instruct the packers on how to pack. This does not work well. My husband, trying to keep me from losing my mind, doesn't tell me that our personal belongings have been treated in such a way. 17 days later, our belongings finally arrive! Yay!!! But wait, please hold your enthusiasm until you see the condition of which your things have arrived. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolute and utter disarray. Everything in giant boxes that I can't even reach the bottom of. It literally looks like a box was placed at the end of a counter and someone used their arm to just Swipe/slide it all down to the end and into the box. Broken perfume bottles, shampoo spilled all over everything, bars of open soap, jewelry, all just mashed into a giant box. My king size platform bed broken into pieces, unrepairable pieces. All the hardware for my children's beds is gone. My L shaped desk has been destroyed. Do you want to know the best part? The "customer service" person from United Regions Van Lines laughed at me and told me to file a claim. No concern, no accountability. If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. You will regret it.
